Falling, falling….and, THUMP!
Yup. That’s how I jumped off from Kliffto. I fell on a heap of thick snow, hence not getting hurt. Or else my nose would have the same destiny as the forehead, no doubt.
I got up on my feet and looked around, dusting off the snow. My teeth chattered at the lash of chilly wind. There was absolutely nothing without snow and snow, occasionally snowflakes swirling around. This place was definitely Cyberia.
I shivered at the lack of warmth. My fingers were freezing already and I could see my breath in the air. Moving feet on the chunky snow was a torture.
I hate winters.
Rubbing my hands together, I started walking aimlessly forward. Seriously, what was the test Sophia talked about? Am I supposed to fight the cold or what? In that case, I would be a frozen chicken nugget in two days.
Suddenly, I felt as if someone was observing me from a little distance. They were watching my every step like a hawk.
