Mizuki was now living in a moderately sized apartment near her school. She had multiple bodyguards that were receiving quite the large salary so she was not afraid of losing her life before even getting married.... But.. "Human greed really is a vile thing. Is it not?" Now in another world where power decides everything human greed is not the biggest problem she will face. But bare in mind reader. Reincarnation is not that uncommon. (art ain't mine)

Paladin of The Red Star and The Second Bout

The paladin swung his blade without moving a step closer to Mitsuna.

The ground cracked as a tremor flew by, energy travelled through the cracks formed in the earth a moment later, exploding out.

'Finally. Something better than goblins and scientists with old guns.'

Without waiting for Mitsuna to make a move, the paladin jumped straight forward.

Smashing the bottom of his shield into the ground to decelerate, he swung his body in a circle while also using his sword.

'What is this? A Bloodhound boss?'

Mitsuna asked herself while smiling.

The paladin's moveset seemed slightly barbaric which went against his righteousness earlier.

'No Techniques though.'

Swinging her sword against his shield, her blade got bounced back as he parried.

Swinging straight down with his sword, the blade went straight for Mitsuna's face.

"Ah."

An explosion rang out.

As the dust settled, the paladin readjusted his shield.

Pulling at his sword, it refused to give way.

"Ahahaha! Finally a good workout!"

Laughter sounded from the dust.

As it cleared, it could be seen what had transpired.

Mitsuna, a split second before the blade made contact with her skull, weakly tossed her sword in front of her face and grabbed it with her free left hand.

Since the oncoming impact was huge, she used her right, free hand to absorb some of the impact as well.

She switched her sword from one hand to another and blocked with her free unprotected hand and sword together.

She had a large gash on her hand and she had lost two fingers, blood seemed to endlessly drip down the paladin's blade.

"Hey, at least my nails are fine."

She commented before hitting the paladin's blade to the side with her own.

"Well seems that your group is finished."

Parrying the knife of the cop that came at her from her right without even moving her legs or head, she continued.

"I'd love to continue our little match but it seems I have to try a little harder now."

Raising her injured hand to the left and in front of her, an arrow soon pierced it as her hand started to slowly freeze.

Backhand slapping the cop's hand who had tried to stab her yet again, she redirected the arrow to his arm and removed it from her own with her sword.

'They're getting better.'

Stomping the ground, Mitsuna made the cop lose his balance as she grabbed him by his collar and threw him at another incoming arrow.

The cops leg then suddenly got grabbed before the arrow hit.

He was then thrown to the back by the paladin as he yelled.

"Let us continue!"

He swung his sword yet again.

"No thanks."

Using [Full Eclipse], Mitsuna parried the blow to the side and kicked the paladin in the face, knocking him back.

"Learn some Techniques."

Catching two arrows from her left with her right hand and throwing them towards the injured cop at the back, it was blocked by a barrier created by the priest.

'Che. Could have made it 3 for 3.'

"Oi, elf. Stop shooting from the same direction every time. It's damn boring. What are you? An 8th grader? If it doesn't work once why try it again?"

Stomping her feet, a gust of wind blew the poison gas in the surroundings away.

"Gas, try something more original. God, why do you keep needing my input? You're damn adults, think! I ain't your teacher, but you fight like school kids!"

Getting a little annoyed with the unoriginality of the group, Mitsuna tried to give them tips so she could at least enjoy her workout.

'I still don't know the full extent of my speed.'

Till now she has tested the limits of her reaction speed, physical strength, defence, regeneration and simultaneous casting but not her dexterity or speed.

'I'll leave dexterity for another time. They can at least handle a bit of speed so I'll test that.'

"Get ready, I'll start moving."

Starting her jog, Mitsuna used the full extent of her speed and reaction time.

Blurring past the paladin, she used [Full Eclipse] on his shield with her full power and broke it in half while making him lose a few fingers.

Past the cop who was making his way back to her previous location, she just kicked him in the back of the head.

'Tenacious at least.'

To the priest, she didn't really want to punch another girl in the face so she just picked her up.

To the archer, she was annoying so she pushed her off the tree and stepped on her leg.

Going back to her location, all the time that seemed to have passed was 6 seconds at most.

The group still could not react well.

The priest who was being carried by Mitsuna on her shoulder didn't say anything but Mitsuna could feel her stare.

Looking at the group of 4, Mitsuna thought-

"Wait... 4?"

Looking around and not seeing anything, Mitsuna expanded her senses.

"Hooh! That's really smart!"

Just as she said that the ground split apart in a giant explosion as giant blades of ice covered in a strong poison pierced through the earth, decimating the landscape.

Just as Mitsuna dodged the blades, she sensed something else.

Looking up, she could see three asteroids making their way towards her.

Looking at the priest on her shoulder, she asked.

"Were you guys prepared to die or something?"

Seeing the priest stay quiet, she sighed.

"Well, whatever. Time to dry out my mana pool a little I guess."

Placing the priest on a piece of ice, Mitsuna made a magic circle. A single one.

A long Diamond spike launched out of the ground and through the magic circle, enhancing its power.

Although the spike was thin, it decimated an oncoming asteroid by piercing it all the way through, the asteroid then crumbled to pieces.

'And the other two...'

Since the other two asteroids were almost next to each other, Mitsuna only needed one skill to destroy both at once.

'[Sever]'

The asteroids were cut in half and at the end of the high-end spell volley, Mitsuna stood unfazed and not even grazed.

Her right hand had fully healed during this time and she was in peak performance. All she lacked right now was a full mana pool which she would get back in a few minutes time.

"Well, that was fun."

Turning back to the priest and still seeing no peep nor motion, Mitsuna just gave up and spread her senses.

"Looks like everyone survived. They're all below ground."

Digging a hole with her [Quake] element, she yelled down towards the group.

"Oi! You left your priest here!"

...

Meanwhile, below the earth.

"Wait... sh*t! We left Quatz!"

The goth swore.
