Chapter 5

A NEW CHAPTER

Michael and Rachel's graduation day finally arrived, and they were both filled with excitement and pride. They had worked hard to achieve their degrees, and they knew that this was just the beginning of their new life together. As they walked off the stage, diploma in hand, Michael turned to Rachel with a smile. "We did it, Rachel! We made it!"

Rachel beamed with pride, her eyes shining with happiness. "We sure did, Michael! And now, it's time to start our new life together." Michael nodded, his mind already racing with plans for their future. He knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Rachel, and he was determined to make their wedding day perfect.

As they celebrated with their friends and family, Michael couldn't help but think about the wedding he was planning. He had already booked the venue, chosen the catering, and selected the music. But he wanted to make it extra special for Rachel, so he decided to keep it a secret until the big day.

Meanwhile, Rachel was busy with her jewelry company, which was thriving under her leadership. Michael was her director, and together they made a great team. They spent their days designing new pieces, meeting with clients, and running the business. But despite their busy schedules, Michael and Rachel always made time for each other. Finally, the day of the wedding arrived, and Michael was nervous but excited. He had planned everything to perfection, and he couldn't wait to see Rachel's face when she walked down the aisle. As the guests arrived and took their seats, Michael stood at the altar, his heart pounding with anticipation. As she walked towards him, Michael felt his heart overflow with love and gratitude. They bought a beautiful house, started a family, and continued to grow and succeed in their careers.

A year later, Rachel gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Calista. She was the light of their lives, and they were both besotted with her. As Calista grew up, she was surrounded by joy and happiness. She was a bright and curious child, always eager to learn and explore. And as she entered her teenage years, she began to show a keen interest in her mother's jewelry business. Rachel was delighted to teach her everything she knew, and Calista proved to be a quick learner.

Calista started high school, Michael began to change. He started coming home late, getting drunk, and distant. Rachel tried to brush it off as stress from work, but deep down, she knew something was wrong. And then, one day, she discovered the truth. Michael had been having an affair, and he had a wife and a kid outside of their marriage.

Rachel was devastated. She felt betrayed and heartbroken. She couldn't understand how the man she loved could do this to her and their daughter. She confronted Michael, and he broke down, confessing everything. He told her that he was sorry, that he had made a mistake, and that he wanted to make it right.

Rachel was torn. She wanted to leave him, but she couldn't bear the thought of breaking up their family. She loved Michael, and she wanted to believe that he could change. So she made a decision. She would stay with him, but she would make him work to regain her trust. And so, Michael began the long journey of redemption, determined to prove himself to Rachel and Calista once again.

As they worked to rebuild their relationship, Rachel couldn't shake off the feeling that something was still off. Michael was being too perfect, too attentive. She started to doubt Michael's intentions, she started to notice strange things around the house. Doors would slam shut on their own, and she would hear whispers in the night. She couldn't shake off the feeling that someone was watching her.

One night, she decided to investigate. She crept out of bed and made her way to the attic. As she searched through old trunks and boxes, she stumbled upon a mysterious letter. It was addressed to Michael, and the contents made her blood run cold.

The letter was from a woman named Tremaine, and she claimed to be Michael's wife. Rachel felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't believe that Michael had kept this secret from her.

As she continued to read, she discovered that Tremaine was not just any woman. She was a powerful and ruthless person who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted. Rachel realized that she was in grave danger.

Suddenly, she heard a noise behind her. She turned around to see Michael standing in the shadows, a sinister grin spreading across his face.

"Rachel, my dear," he said, his voice dripping with malice. What are you in search of ?

Rachel tried to hid the letter, but Michael was too quick. He grabbed her and dragged her back to the bedroom. As she struggled to break free, she saw Tremaine standing in the doorway, a cruel smile on her face.

Rachel's heart raced as she realized Michael had been having an extra marital affairs. She looked at him her voice shaking... "who's she to you? Michael do I deserve this? .... Tell me all I saw were not true ...she said tearing up.

Which of the questions would you like me to answer first? ..... He replied acting cool like nothing happened .

She screamed, everything Michael.....

There's nothing between myself and Tremaine she's just a client....he lied . He moved closer to her and kiss her on her forehead, I love you Rachel and no one can come in between us, I promise. Never believe what anyone else says to you I will never betray you Rachel, ..... He hugged her.

And then, everything went black.
