The dragon had it's teeth bare, it's coiling form floating in the air, touching the clouds with it's tail. It was a Golden Saint Dragon an exalted being among all Godbeasts. Standing under it looking even smaller than an ant on a grassy hill was an old man with a crocket back with the aura of death around him. The only noticeable thing about him where his eyes that shone like stars. They where clear but filled with a fanatic madness, an insatiable appetite for the dragon. The old man had tried to afford the dragon it's due respect but he couldn't hide the thirst in his eyes.
"Human Sage the human and dragon have a treaty do they not". The old man replied
" I have not come representing humans, I am just an old man seeking life."
"And you think you will get that out of me." the Dragon roared with a vicious anger.
"No I only hope beyond hope. If I die it will be by a dragon, one with the bloodline of a primodial God. I couldn't be more satisfied." the old man said with a glint in his eye.
The dragon looked at him. " So came here seeking death. You believe the is meaning in dying by my hand."
"Yes and no. I came hear to see if for one last time I could defy the Heavens or if I am to succumb, but to succumb while in meditation is not my Dao I live to challenge the Heavens if I die I die doing the same."
The dragon looked at him and contemplated.
"I will kill you today, you must know that. I am a Saint, a step from Godhood there is no way you can win"
The old Man smiled, ass he did his aura rose to equal the dragon but with it the aura of death.
"So you weren't able to take the step because of your weak body, I see why you feel you have been wronged by the Heavens."
...The clouds had scattered the hill had been flattened. The fight had lasted 4 hours.
A lone figure standing at the heard of a dragon.The dragon's eyes were empty showing it's death and the man was roaring with mad laughter.
"I have done it. Hahahaha, I will no longer be ignored by the Heavens, I will stand equal to Universe and transcend time I Alexander will realise my destiny"
He laughed maniacally, as tears started to pour down his cheeks. "I will be reborn to soar towards the highest heavens, bother, mother, do you see"
he cast a spell and the dragon floated in the air as he walked towards an unassuming small hill.
He looked around the flattened hill and then back at the dead dragon. "Sorry I had already set a trap, I had you in my grasp the moment you decided to fight."
He made a few gestures with his hand and the flattened hill reformed and the clouds reformed."Now to make it invisible to the naked eye." He made a few more gestures and then went into the cave where he would be dead for 200 years.
