Edric stared at him for thirty seconds straight, in disbelief at what he had just heard.
"R-really?" He asked.
"Yes." Valerio nodded.
Edric chuckled softly, relief washing all over his face.
"Does this mean that I am not going to die?" He inquired, and Valerio nodded at him in response.
"Yes, and that's why I hope that you will be able to follow me today to my family's house. You have to be present."
Edric took a deep breath and thought for a few moments before agreeing.
"No problem. I can go." He said.
A half-smile emerged on Valerio's face, and he stood up from the chair.
"I have somewhere to go right now, so I will send someone to pick you up and take you to the family house."
He said and left the hospital.
He boarded the car and drove off toward Keisha's house.
He arrived there and parked outside.
