CHAPTER 13

    "Diana's tired and needs some rest." It was the only word my mother-in-law said three months ago after Liam and I returned. She didn't permit anyone to question Diana. I recalled how Diana gave me that dirty look of someone who had just accomplished a goal. This was game on. She had something up her sleeves and I needed to get to the bottom of it. Something about everything didn't seem right. Rosie, Lisa's return, and Diana. It might have been just an unfair accusation but something didn't feel right about them.

      It was 7 am. I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. It was the same caller. I got up from the bed gently and answered the call. The receiver on the other end waited for a while before greeting.
