Chapter 1

"TF!!", Kobie screamed, jumping up from the floor. He searched around, frantically. A hand touched him from nowhere and he screamed again. But this time, he turned around to look at the person. "Ray?", he asked. The person nodded his head. "But, I thought...". " Yeah, I know. Me too. Actually, we did die. I'm surprised how I'm currently bleeding and I'm not feeling any pain whatsoever", Ray quickly replied.

"Well I know.... "

The two guys looked at each other in confusion. "Was that you Ray?". "Naaaa".

"You might see me after awhile, but I advise you guys to leave the premises. The police are on their way".

"Hell naw now I'm hearing things in my mind", Ray wailed. "Let's just leave", Kobie said and dragged him out of the alley.

After awhile, they heard police sirens wailing, but were told by the strange voice to pass by like they're oblivious of the situation and walk faster. In about 30 minutes, they had reached the State School park which is surrounded by a water source. "Now show yourself.... If you dare", Kobie yelled.

Suddenly, where they stood got surrounded by a black fog. Slowly, as the fog was clearing, out stepped a 6'7 inched tall man, with a tattoo of a scorpion with horns on the left side of his body and golden hair with turquoise eyes staring at them. He was only wearing trousers and his abs, clearly defined and shaped were bare.

"Do you not know who I am?", the man asked. "Well, except for your shiny skin and you being barefooted, no clue", Ray replied. "Wait, Soul?", Kobie asked.

"He's away on some business", the man replied.

"Mano?"."Busy, and she's female!"

"Ceri?". "Mmmmmmmm!!!!"

"Nagamo?". "You clearly do not know your deities", the man growled.

Kobie's eyes widened. He whispered to Ray, "I thought no one has seen the Supreme Deity before. He hardly ever shows himself at the annual New Phase festival".

They stared in awe at the Supreme Deity. "Oh we're so sorry! Oh Great One!! Anak of the Honorary Realm. Slayers of foes. Supreme over all. Sorcerer infinity. Giver of gifts...", the two knelt and cried.

"Can you stop now? It's weird. I don't give myself that much credit like you mortals do", he chuckled and conjured 3 seats and sat down. "I'd like you to sit down", he said. They quickly did so.

"So by now you are wondering why I'm here, and you're alive... It's that simple. I reincarnated you guys, but not that alone. You see, at the time of your deaths, Ceri saw what happened and consulted me about it. Since you died on Earth and she's responsible for that, she felt it odd to bring you to the afterlife whilst something in your lives hasn't been accomplished yet. She wanted me to intervene, so I did. You don't look the same, by the way. And everyone thinks you're dead, as we speak. And as I reincarnated you guys, you got a minute fraction of my power. It may vary for each of you, but let me make this clear: there's a catch. If there are any questions feel free to ask before I continue talking".

Ray cleared his throat. "Yes Ray?". "We have all our memories back. Why?", he asked. "Good question. You see, you'll need them to find out who actually killed you"."Us?",Kobie asked. "Yes, YOU".

"In fact, stop asking questions. The catch is, you only have 5 macro phases to solve it. Means from tomorrow, the beginning of the second Earth phase up to the end of the second New phase to clear your case. Or else you'll just end up in Ceri's Halo realm". Do I make myself clear?". They both nodded frantically. Every evening I'll arrange for my succubus to train you; but that's for only next phase. The rest of your powers figure them out yourselves".

Anak got up, the seats disappearing so, making the men fall. "Ouch Anak...",Ray said but Kobie chipped in, "That's the Supreme Deity for you". Anak crunched down and stared at them. "May knowledge help you both, and justice rule out all foes".
