The accident.

They settled in nicely into the huge Rover that Was hired to pick them up to Creek Island that night. She was quite happy to be back home for it seemed an eternity away from home. She has gradually grown an affinity toward her home country may be because of Munah, the love of her life, or the home blood in her but all the same, she felt quite peaceful and relaxed remembering that there is no place like home. She sat by his side at the back of the car and went through her phone. Munah was also relaxed going through his computer as the driver moved out of the airport. Adah was still on her phone probably going through her emails and stuff, sometimes typing, and at one time she made a call. There was a companionable silence between them as each respected the other and minded their own business. Suddenly, as the driver approached the bypass, he switched lanes but was caught by an oncoming minivan. He tried to maneuver but it was late as the Rover ran into a culvert which did little to hold it as it fell over into a ditch of about ten feet below. It happened very fast and the minivan did not stop as the driver turned the opposite way with a loud screech of the tires raising smoke as a result of the friction. The driver escaped the scene leaving the victims at the mercy of other motorists that rushed to the scene of the accident. Adah was the first to be rescued and as she was carried out of the damaged and crashed car, the police and ambulance arrived at the scene. It took the police about an hour to finish the rescue of the occupants and from the look of things, the driver was the worst hit. The car was towed out of the ditch just as the ambulance conveyed the victims to the hospital with the siren blaring as it sped the long road of the highway.
