An extraordinary weekend.
Adah was excited as she packed their things. She made sure that every toiletry was in the bag as well as their clothes. He has booked the lodging though it is not to the taste he wants but according to him, it is manageable. They will be heading to the airport to board her Airbus since they will be traveling by air. In her mind, she said the trip will only be for the weekend but she may extend it for a week. She just feels like staying off work not that she is lazy but she just needs a break. There has been lots of thinking and activities that have been so demanding that she has indeed been stretched to her elasticity point. This journey to inspect the site will give her a perfect excuse for taking a day or two to rest and spend time with Munah who she knows loves work. She finished packing the small leather box and ticked her note after ensuring that all that they will need is packed. She wondered why she cannot hold back the excitement but reasoned that it might be because of her hidden plan and the first time she will be traveling in her private jet. She entered the kitchen wondering what to prepare. She was still wondering when Munah came back and like he always does, he brought home some Chinese food. They both ate it as if in a hurry with Adah wanting to take the lion's share and Munah allowing her to have her way. Adah knows that with him she is happy, she knows that those days of sorrow have given way to nothing but joy. She knows that she can no more love another beside him and had never thought of her life without him since the day they confessed their love to each other. He is great to be with and funny. He loves her and not her wealth. He respects her and understands her needs in every aspect. She just wants to be with him every minute of the day and cares less about what people might say or think.
Adah reckons that she is never tired of his presence around her neither does she wants him to go away any time that he is with her. They are matched evenly and she hates to make him sad or angry likewise him, he hates to see her cry or beg for anything that she knows is within his power to offer to her. She loves the way he makes her scream, shout and moan in bed. She loves the way he makes her feel and she can never ask for more. He is exactly her type of man and each day, she feels blessed and honored because of him. Now she can swim effortlessly in the ocean of love and never get drowned. Now life seems to have a new meaning, giving her reasons to live and this she wants to fully exploit. Her heart tends to beat faster at the thought of him and he has a way of talking to her that makes her feel more than appreciated and loved. Adah was completely lost in thought as her mind carried her away on the wings of passion making her free and having the strength to soar like an eagle. She turned abruptly as she sensed that Munah just entered the room. She was almost half-naked with her fairness illuminating the entire room with reckless abandon. Adah knows that she is very beautiful, she knows that she radiates nothing but beauty that words cannot even explain but what is beauty to a lady if such cannot keep a man? Adah turned and smiled as she saw him coming toward her and waited with her body begging for an embrace. He embraced her fully while the aroma of his masculinity captured her and made her a captive as she held him tightly to herself not letting him go. Munah loves her fragrance and has told her this any time he falls under this spell. They held themselves and as she held him, she closed her eyes sensing a great amount of protection and healing. She felt her body shivering as he touched her waist and gently dragged her to himself. She allowed herself and surrendered to his touch and hold with desire and passion building and burning in her inside. Munah knows that his woman is passionate and he knows that her sensitivity may be worrisome at times but all the same, she is an extraordinary woman who has come into his life unannounced and captured it. To Munah, Adah is a special breed that is focused and knows what she wants. She has her style and can easily be misunderstood, she is an indoor personality who hates surprises. Soft-spoken and graceful, considerate and generous to a fault. However, in her anger, she cannot be predicted because she may be unforgiving and may take a donkey year to come out from her recoiled shell. Munah whispered into her ear after which he kissed it, she closed her eyes as the sweetness enveloped her and unconsciously held him with a soft moan coming out of her mouth. Taking Adah to Mrs. Rowlings will be quite dicey and even Munah may not envisage the outcome. He yearns for her because, at this time, her advice and direction will go a long way to help him, especially with Adah. Presently, Adah has stopped telling him the news about Mrs. Rowlings. She selects what she feels he should know and tells him those he is quite comfortable with. One thing that has kept him alive and well is Adah's presence and the wonderful gift she has been giving him. He kissed her the more as she responded in like fashion knowing that the weekend will be eventful with Adah and the project before them.
He knows that the lodging he paid for was not excellent but it can serve the purpose. It is a three-star hotel for that is the best he was able to find. The distance from the hotel to the site is not that far. Munah's only fear is that she may not want to be at the hotel. She is quite more than that and he may try to convince her. He noticed that she did take on the task to pack their necessities, he wonder why she is so interested in that but had long given up the idea. In no time, they will be on their way to the airport, preparation will be made for the car to be kept with the airport officials till they arrive. He also knows that a token is always paid for the service. They refrained and got prepared for the airport. The transport department had already made preparations for the pilot on Adah's order. Adah also called Lily and intimated to her of the brief journey though she told Lily that she was going alone but only laughed when she refused to accept her words. They discussed further and even when they entered the car on their way to the airport, Adah was still discussing with Lily. When the call was finally over, Munah could not help but wonder about what they always discussed. However, he reasoned that it must be very important to them.
On their way to the airport, Munah stopped at a pizza shop. He came down and walked to the shop. He entered and made his favorite choice. He bought some as well as some soda tonic. As he waited at the counter to collect his purchase when the lady at the police station approached him.
"You seem to have forgotten me..." she said looking at him.
"Not quite, madam, you are Mr. Bami's wife I suppose?" Munah asked.
"Yes... but I am not here for any trouble but can you help me with something?" She asked, "What precisely but you know I am not comfortable with this conversation." Munah said looking at her.
"No worries and honestly I am not here to cause any trouble. Can you connect me to your fiancee?" She asked in a low voice. Munah saw her sincerity and said nothing. As he collected his purchase he beckoned to her to follow him to the car. She followed and as they approached Adah who was beginning to get worried about his delays as she discovered that he has a company. She knew the lady at once and wondered if Munah has not gotten into some kind of trouble. As both ladies greeted, Munah explained in detail to Adah who realize what was up in the air.
"Please I am not here to make any trouble. I just want you to help me for the sake of my father. He was a director in one of the recent telecommunication outfits you bought. Before the takeover, he was laid off due to no fault of his. Since the takeover is now complete I want to beg you if there is any chance for him to be part of the company again?" She said all in one breath as Adah looked intently at her and was speechless.
"I will call you as soon as I come back from this trip," Adah said and gave her Munah's card. Call this number in the next two weeks and we will talk." She said and the lady thanked him before moving to her car. Munah said nothing as he started the car and he drove off with Adah not saying anything. She just does not want anything to affect her plans for this extraordinary weekend that she has made up her mind to enjoy.
