I am a 35 year old man, and I just want to put it out here before you start reading that not all adults act or are as smart as their age credits them for. For the first time I have based the MC strictly off choices that I, myself would make in his position. I am sorry if my maturity isn't up to snuff, but before becoming a writer, I worked for 15 years in construction. I just wanted to add this little point before you read so you don't have any misconceptions going into this book!}}}

Chapter 1: Wandering Eyes

The following day went by like a blur. King Michael Jagar held a large ceremony to thank me in front of all his people for saving them. Needless to say, it felt more than awkward for someone like me. Regardless, the King rewarded me with the five people that I had requested.

Once everything was all finished, we all were transported to the port town of Remel, where Captain Gaius and his ship were waiting for us.

"Gideon! You made it back in one piece, and you seemed to have made some friends along the way!" Captain Gaius laughed, and I nodded as we all boarded the boat.

I let out a laugh as I looked at my group, which only consisted of Rammus and Gruff. "Yes, well I brought a few more, but they are..." I explained, but then trailed off. "...Nevermind. Yeah, I did make some friends along the way," I smiled, leaving out the part about my Dimensional Space.
