Using authority

Everyone was shocked to see Lord Harold holding a trey in his hand. One of the cooks on the floor quickly got up to take the trey from his hand. But he wasnt really concern about that, his gaze was more on the woman who just raised her hand to slap Naomi.

After eating his food Tobin decided to return the empty plates by himself. As an only child he was already used to doing that. As he came outside he concluded he was not going to exchange any word with anybody while hoping he would just see someone who would take the tray from from his hand.

To his surprise he noticed a little crowd at a side of the house. He wondered what was happening as he moved closer. Every person was interested in what was happening that they didn't even notice he was close by. On getting close he heard the exchange of words between Naomi and another woman. He didn't appreciate the fact that someone else was talking to his betrothed like that. Not that he should really care since he doesn't feel anything towards her but the fact he has decided to treat her for the three days he would be around made him angry.

He cleared his throat so the peoole befor him would notice him. Immediately they turned back to look at him they all began to bow and tremble with fear s they diapered. It occured to him that they are workers in the house. About three of them tried to take the tray from his hand but he refused their help as he gestured with his head for them to walk away which they did immediately. Tobin was still curious as to why people will tremble with si much fear at his presence.

'What is happening here? Tobin asked looking from Madam Tochi to Naomi his gaze more on madam Tochi. He quickly suspected she must be the matron Calvin told him about.

"My Lord don't worry, I will sought this out myself. I think Naomi here needs to be reminded of your rules " Madam Tochi replied with a stern look at Naomi who was glad Harold saved her from being embarrassed with a slap. She didn't know how she would have reacted.

"I hear you yelling at her for making food for me, instead of shouting at her you should be thanking her for the delicious food she made.

"But my Lord.....

"There is no but, she has the right and Infact from this moment only Noami allowed to cook for me. And that is final " Tobin added with a stern look on his face as he made to walk away. Then he added.

"And no one in this house is permitted to talk to her rudely ever again "He said befor walking away.

Deep down Tobin couldn't believe what just happened. For once he decides to be bold and speak the way he thought Harold would have done and he was happy at the outcome. He couldn't believe that peoole would respect him that much.

He could hear whispered behind him as he walked away but he really didn't care much he was just happy with himself for standing up for her.

It was while he was going back he took his time to notice some things in the living room. At almost every corner there was a servant with his or her head bowed. The place was well decorated with gold in most places. It was the typical decoration would should give to the palace of a king.

Just when he was wondering who would take him on a tour he noticed Calvin standing at the door to his room.

"Yes Calvin, you came at the right moment, I will like to take a tour around this kingdom today. " Tobin informed him.

Calvin looked at him with a look of surprise.

"What is the problem? Tobin was forced to ask.

"You have never liked the idea of going into the kingdom unless the peoole come around here to gather for an occassion. You rarely even talk to other people so why the sudden change? Calvin asked

"Time waits for no man my friend. My time is short and I have a lot to do within that time "Tobin replied talking about the three days he have to explore the land.

"I don't understand my Lord, Calvin replied looked puzzled at what he just said.

Tobin knew he would not understand but hoped he would not question him too much.

"I just want to see the world outside this mansion, is that too much to ask for? Tobin asked a little angered.

"No my Lord it is perfect, I Will get Bam and Tyre so we can all go together " Calvin stated as he made to walk away.

"No, just me and you" Tobin insisted. He wasn't comfortable with having that wolf with him as he was still scared of it and he didn't like Tyre.
