True Divine Tribulation

"Wait what?" I said in surprise. It was too late however before I could even react, I was on the peak of some sort of mountain. The sky all around me was full of dark and stormy clouds that were crackling with lightning and thunder. I was a bit confused and was about to fly off when I heard a voice in my head.

'Don't leave the peak, this is a Divine Tribulation for a mortal to become a God. If you leave, The Primordial energy will start trying to tear apart your soul.'

"What the fuck man! You should have at least warned me about it!" I said to him.

'Don't get your panties in a twist, you'll be fine. You are far, far above the bare minimum requirement to ascend to godhood. It will be pretty painful though so do your best, Ciao!' He cut the psychic link abruptly. What a wanker.

I sat back down on the peak and waited for the tribulation to start. I was waiting for quite some time around an hour I think. I was just about to take a nap when a tightening bolt fell right next to me. I was on alert from then on. I looked above and saw that the skies became even darker and rain started to pour from the heavens. I powered up to my max base power to test the waters.

The second bolt of lightning hit me square on in the back, it hurt like a bitch. The damage itself was negligible but even after a full minute, I was still hissing in pain. This was the official start of the Tribulation. Bolt after bolt of lightning fell upon me nonstop. The pain was quite intense so to relieve myself a bit I went Super Saiyan.

Going Super Saiyan didn't help and if anything made it a bit worse. I went Super Saiyan 2 and even that didn't help so I went Super Saiyan 3. When I did the pain subsided instantly to the level of a small tickle. The Tribulation went on and on, doing its absolute best to make me squeal, but the boost from Super Saiyan 3 was so great that it did absolutely nothing. After a few hours of Nothing happening and boredom, the Tribulation seemingly stopped. I was quite happy and was about to fly off when I heard a voice in my head.

'Don't leave, that was only the first level. There are three levels in total if you can pass you will have full control of Primordial energy. However, there is no shame in leaving now as even passing the first level will garner you huge benefits.'

"Nah, I'll stay it didn't seem that hard."

'If you say so!' ❄︎❒︎︎♋︎︎■︎︎⬧︎︎●︎︎♏︎❒︎ said mysteriously. I ignored him and waited for the next level. The next level swiftly came and instead of the regular red lightning, this one looked bright blue. I patiently waited for the first lightning bolt and it quickly came, striking me ferociously. I was still in Super Saiyan 3, so I didn't really pay attention and just waited for it to pass but surprisingly it hurt quite a bit. After a few more almost unbearingly painful lightning bolts I came to a realization.

"Shit, it's not targeting my body this time! It's going for my spirit!" I said. I immediately used my ki to reinforce and protect my soul from any outside threats. This seemed to work as it again went to the level of a small tickle.

Some time passed and it seemed that the Tribulation lightning went away back to wherever it came from with another failure under its belt. After another minute of waiting the third level started. this time it was purple lightning.

"Hmm, so maybe a mixture of the two from before? The feel of the lightning seems to be completely different like it has an extra component," I mused to myself. This time when the lightning struck, it struck with a force I had never felt before including from Daishinkan. I Immediately went into base form from the pressure. I even almost fell and plummeted to the bottom of the mountain. I was able to keep a grip on the peak and pulled myself up. I coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"Sweet baby Jesus, that was just ONE bolt! Fuck you ❄︎❒︎︎♋︎︎■︎︎⬧︎︎●︎︎♏︎❒︎, you sadistic cunt! I know you're enjoying this!" I said angrily toward the sky. Another bolt fell on me, ripping apart my clothing and causing burns. The lightning also chipped a piece of my soul away causing unreal amounts of pain and damage. I constructed a Ki shield to buy some time for me to enter Ultra Instinct. I powered through the pain and calmed my mind and body. Once I was perfectly calm and relaxed I entered Ultra Instinct, just in time for my ki shield to be broken. Every second my power rises further and further into numbers incalculable and incomprehensible to humanity.

Like me, the Divine Tribulation Lightning rises in power every second trying to surpass me. It took every bit of my will power to upkeep my calm and relaxed state, any slip-up and the lightning will kill me instantly, tearing apart my body and dispersing my soul. Sweat dripped down my brow and my body flushed red.

It was a cycle. A battle. Every hour for seemingly an eternity the Divine Lightning and I would but heads. I didn't notice when it happened but the lightning slowly lost its effectiveness over time, its power and ferocity would rise in conjunction with mine but never surpass me.

After an untold amount of time, the Divine Lightning lost all of its effectiveness over me and instead began to help me instead. All the damage to my soul and body was repaired and a warm feeling overcame my being. I realized it was the Primordial energy entering my soul and body. I let it enter and felt a qualitative change overcome my body and soul. After a long while, the Divine Tribulation Lightning went away and the clouds receded.

The dimension crumbled away and I was met face to face with ❄︎❒︎︎♋︎︎■︎︎⬧︎︎●︎︎♏︎❒︎.

"So, how ya liking that-" He tried to say before I bashed his head in with a full power punch. He flew away and disappeared into the sky with a twinkle mirroring team rocket. He materialized to my right sporting a comically large bump.

"Ey! Feisty girl ain't ya," He said.

"Shut up, you almost got me killed! Warn me next time you do some dumb shit," I said to him angrily.

"Well, I can see the future so I knew you would survive."

"Whatever!" I said, "Just get me out of here." He nodded and I was transported back to my previous location outside my ship. I noticed that even more people seemed to congregate around the ki dome that I left behind, they seemed excited when I popped in. I summoned my hand mirror and started noting my physical changes. My hair and eyes were bright red and my muscles seemed to be slightly slimmed down. I didn't even notice but it seems that I am in a perpetual state of Super Saiyan God.

I summoned a few senzu beans as I was quite hungry and wolfed them down. Maybe I should mess with the people on Earth prime? I snapped my fingers and my ship returned to my pocket dimension. I dissolved my ki dome and was about to blast off but saw a woman cosplaying as Chi-Chi sprinting toward me, I waited politely to ask her what she wanted but was immediately glomped by her as she stuffed my face between her huge boobs. A dumb smile made its way to my face as it was buried between her mounds. Maybe I'll stay awhile.
