Amina remained silent as she listened while her Mom scolded her. This was not the first time
her mother had given this lecture, and it wouldn’t be the last. The only thing
that seemed to change was what her mother was unhappy with. Trying to find
information on High Prince Tristain was a new one.

listening to me, Amina?” Her mother’s voice took on an icy tone.
Amina rolled her
eyes. “Yes, Mother, I am listening.”
