"Oh, I see, how kind of them." Ash noted.
"Yeah, that is nice of them. But why'd they let you do that though?" David inquired further.
"Well, I saw through an old fox's illusion and was deemed a prodigy." I explained.
"YOU WHAT!" Both David and Ashtraz screamed at the exact same time.
"Is that a big deal?" I asked, as I had no idea what it meant to be a 'prodigy'.
"It's a HUGE deal!" Ash exclaimed loudly as she shot up and made her way over to my bed, where I was currently lying down. "Do you have any idea how rare it is to even be thought of as such a person?"
And with a blank stare and no emotions, I simply stated, "Nope."
She stared at me with disbelief, and I could see David off to the side doing the same.
"Ugh… I guess I'll explain it to you." Ash sighed in a bit of dismay. "So, basically you are on the same levels as some nobles in terms of status if The Gilded Ophidian Institute has deemed you worthy of that title."
