February 7, 2021: Groundwork

Once the call was dropped, Konrad handed the phone back to Brock. He then turned to look at the other four guards, who had already lined themselves up in front of him, before addressing the situation. 

"Do not do anything unnecessary. Let Rai Mordred's men take care of O' Connor. We'll just wait for our turn." 

They all nodded their heads in response and went back to doing their job. All things considered, this just became the most difficult part of their day. It's mainly because of the sudden escalation of tension on site. Although, Konrad's personal guards might be the only ones who felt the unease grew. Perhaps, their minds were the problem. Since they're aware of the fact that Mr Averon would be now involving himself in the unwarranted standoff, they knew better than to let their guard down as they awaited for the events to unfold.
