February 14, 2021: Value

In every respect, Syn felt like leaving the table at that moment. The only people who would stay in a place where they're being insulted were those who didn't hold themselves in high regard. However, there were still some who belonged to a group of exceptions. One as such were the individuals who didn't put any value on the insults being thrown at them. They always bore in their minds that the words of other people shouldn't make their resolve waver. Their pride relied on the confidence that they could accomplish whatever they wanted to do whenever they desired. Feeling demotivated after being shamed was solely perceived as a weakness. 

Abstaining from conflict and defending one's honour were two things that had a thin line separating them. To breach that line was a matter of having the courage to suffer from consequences that might arise.
