Against Your Love

Waking up in a pitch black room unable to see a thing. The girl looked and looked hoping something would catch her eye. She couldn't find anything, the darkness felt like it was consuming her. There was nothing to cling to, nothing within arms reach. The girl sat in the darkest room she had ever been in, so dark she couldn't even make out her own body. She had to touch each part of her body to make sure it was even there. That's when the voice spoke to her.

"I have brought you here to be my weapon. My one and only amongst The Heartless to be with a heart. You will be their leader from the shadows. Some will not accept it but I will grant you the power to show force if they disobey you. Elizabeth White, the new leader of The Heartless. I'm sending you to a new world and you can't refuse, for I am Pluto Mortem the king of the afterlife. If you refuse me I will make sure you're never able to return to your world let alone live in this new one."

Elizabeth stood up in the pitch black room. "How am I even here? You called this the afterlife, am I dead?" She asked.

"No, you are not dead. I have summoned you from your world for this task specifically. I do not have the capabilities to move a deceased being from one world to another with their heart intact, but I am able to take someone living once every few years and bend them to my will." He replied

"Why me? I just watched someone I was interested in be murdered in front of me and haven't really recovered. So why send me? Why not just leave me alone?"

"You will find that out in due time. Do you accept these terms? Either way if you do not you will not be returning to your world. You will be dying here and be used as a heartless."

Elizabeth agreed out of fear of dying. The man never revealed himself and the room never lit up. She saw a blinding flash of white light and then was in Lotte city. She was teleported onto the rooftop of Diamond Tower. Standing on the tallest building in the city she walked to the ledge and looked around. Noticing this was Lotte city but not anywhere near the time she was from. Her Grim appeared next to her as the highest tier Grim's could reach. She stood the same height as Elizabeth but almost like a dark spirit version of herself. Both the Grim and Elizabeth stared at one another.

"Do you have a name?" Elizabeth asked.

The Grim shook its head no.

"Can you talk?"

The Grim shook its head once more.

"Do you want a name?"

The Grim nodded.

"How about… Trinity?"

"Ahhh thank you now I can speak." Trinity replied in a ghastly voice.

"So you needed a name to speak?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes, we do. We need names in order to gain tiers and the ability to speak. Since I was created by the king I was born at the highest tier and with knowledge. All I needed was a name for the ability to speak, so thank you Elizabeth."

"No problem! And you can just call me Lizzy. It's been my nickname since I was little." She replied.

"Okay Lizzy. I'm a S tier Grim created by Pluto himself. Trinity was a perfect name for me seeing how I was given three abilities. One is heightened senses, all of your senses become almost to the point of all seeing. I was given knowledge of only one other heightened senses user in existence. The second is the ability to cloak you, but once engaged the cloak will break, also the other heightened senses user may be able to see you no matter what. Lastly I can make shadow forms of whatever weapon you would like, though you have to have at least touched the weapon before. With me being S tier it means I'm capable of all Grim natural abilities and the ones I was given are extremely powerful." Trinity informed Lizzy.

"How much more powerful could they get?" Lizzy asked.

"Well heightened senses can be tweaked upward or downward. So if you were to not want to feel pain I could bring it down. That's just a taste of what I'll be able to do in the long run." Trinity told her.

Lizzy continued looking around the city when she spotted a giant black bubble forming and then everything went back to normal. Trinity turned to black smoke and flew inside of Lizzy. "That was a hollow zone forming, a Grim ability to separate reapers from reality so they can handle their business. I can raise your awareness and adrenaline which can make you move quickly and efficiently to get over there." Lizzy nodded.

"I guess I'm in this now. And what am I wearing?"

"I believe the king saw fit to adjust your clothes to the style of late teens in this world." Trinity replied.

A black smokey aura formed around Lizzy and she could feel her blood pumping faster. "Can I survive a jump from here. I mean it is the highest building in this city apparently."

"You should be fine, I'm going to cloak you also try jumping from building to building it may be faster." Trinity answered.

Lizzy began running and jumping from building to building and made to where the black bubble had formed. There was nothing, she couldn't see a thing in the area. Just a normal city street and that was when she noticed it looked as if there were two of everything. Like one overlapping the other, like a parallel reality. "Are you seeing this? There are two worlds right in front of us."

"One is reality and one is the hollow zone. I outrank this Grim I can get us in whether they want us in or not." Replied Trinity. "In we go."

The world completely shifted and now sitting on a roof above the street. Lizzy could see a badly damaged upside down car, two women against the wall of the building across the street, one woman with flaming wings in the air high enough to almost notice Lizzy and then two men in the street.

"Enhance my vision please Trinity." Said Lizzy

"Will do."

Lizzy was now able to make out the faces and characteristics of the people down below. One of the women against the wall was her age at least, the other may be a few years older. The woman with flaming wings was gorgeous and at least her age also. The man away from the group was maybe late twenties and pretty creepy looking. "That man is a heartless. He is meant to serve under you while you still serve the king." Trinity informed Lizzy. "Also the woman in the air and the man below her are reapers also. Like you though, they have hearts. I can sense their emotions." Lizzy looked toward the other man and her eyes went wide.

"That's… that's… that's Jakub. The Reaper with the heart is Jakub. Why is he here? How is he here? He's the one that was killed right in front of me. I was traumatized because of it, I couldn't leave my apartment and then after two weeks I was pulled here. Is this what he meant by I would find out I'm due time? He wants to use me against Jakub?" Lizzy was in shock.

"I've been implanted with knowledge that the king knows his daughter is up to something to oppose his plans. He found out who she summoned and how she picked them. The two have no links and don't even know they're from the same world. They just didn't live anywhere near each other in the other world. You on the other hand are a link to Jakub. You will be used as his weakness, he showed interest in you and you him. You're the ultimate weapon against him."

Lizzy sat in shock as she watched Emily and Jakub defeat Trigger and his Grim. She sat watching as the hollow zone vanished and the four of them sat there against the building. Lizzy couldn't believe any of this was happening and she continued to watch them the whole time they sat there. That is until she noticed that Jakub was staring right at her, that was when she realized he was the other heightened senses user. She got up and ran away in a panic.

"No no no. Why? I can't go against him. I had the best date of my life with him. He actually made me feel special unlike guys before him."

"You can and you will!" A booming voice shouted in her head. "I told you if you disobey me I will kill you in this world giving you no chance of going home."

Lizzy couldn't bear the thought of fighting him. She stopped on a rooftop a few blocks away from the fight. She sat down and leaned against the edge.

"He's alive… and I have to oppose him." She mumbled to herself.

"You need to find out your soul type. The king also implanted his plans of harvesting souls into my memory. In this world magic like abilities can be used depending on your soul. You need to find a way to figure it out." Trinity informed her.

Lizzy laid down on the roof.

"I don't want to hurt Jakub."
