Silverblade's Men

One week later...

"Are all the girls in their rooms or accounted for?" Fiora nodded as the rain beat down around them and a small hoard of men arrived in their sight, "Well, here they are," He cracked his neck, "Quinn will stay, don't worry."

"I am worried for you, they seem to be nearly 30 men."

"And have I ever told you the story of when I."

"When you took on 50 men, yeah, but still, you have gotten older, you are not 23 anymore, you are 40, going on 41."

"True, but magic is magic," He removed his gauntlet and handed it to Fiora, "Thank you, for everything, Fiora, you are a very good assistant."

"I chose that job."

"And I think you have done well."

"Why are you telling me this?"

"I don't know," He took his blade from her hands and attached it to his belt, "Well, time to greet him my way," He checked his smaller blades and smiled. He walked out into the pounding rain and walked onto the dirt path that led to his property. There was a man in front of the soldiers, Lord Silverblade, "Halt!" The men heard his loud voice, "You are not welcome here! Leave now and nothing shall come of this!"

"You have kidnapped my wife!"

"She is staying here of her free will, and you refused to save her!"

"She doesn't choose for herself!"

"Here she does," He pulled out one of his daggers, "If you want to raid me, try it, you won't get far!"

"I have more than two dozen men! You are alone!"

"I don't need to have more than that," His dagger moved over his wrist and the three others joined it, "Come and get some!" Lord Silverblade drew his blade and pointed at him and the men shouted and charged at him with weapons drawn, "Lord, give me my powers once more, to defend those whom I care for and to defeat those who try to harm them," His eyes went from brown to silver and a marking lit up on his wrist as the blades shifted out, away from his wrist into a cross shape, before spinning rapidly, "I am ready to fight, as god intended me to, I shall end you, setting Quinn free at once," One of his daggers shot out and it pierced through the metal armor of one of the men, shattering it and sending him back, before returning to the three others. He waited for them to approach him before moving forwards, trying to remember his old steps. His blade shield shred through the leather armor of one of the men and then his soft flesh was torn to bits as he fell dead to the floor. Samuel moved back and his four daggers fired at the men, spitting their metal armors and then pulling back to double-tap the men that they had speared. He held them in his hands as the slower men arrived, more weapons, more armor. Blades clashed with his as his daggers allowed him to get swarmed and still fight, not being touched once. The tip of his blade dug through the back of a soldier's neck, spraying blood onto the muddy ground. He kicked a man back and his heavy armor made him slip and fall to the floor, causing two others to do the same. His daggers jammed themselves into the folds of the metal plated armor and quickly found their way around the shields that were supposed to block them. He called them back and then began spinning around him, at extreme speeds, he spread his arms and the circle grew, culling the men that were too near and hadn't decided to turn tail and run. The men that were still alive fled, picking up the ones that were savable as the dead bodies vanished, leaving empty suits of armor in the thick mud as the rain clattered on them. He panted as his glare found Lord Silverblade and he turned his horse and left with his men, "I won, Silverblade! You show your face here again, you'll really regret it!" His voice was mostly muffled by the rain as he turned around and headed back to the main building, sheathing his blade as his daggers returned to his belt and his magic faded, "Thank you, my lord, for this burst of energy and magic to give me the victory I needed," He was covered in mud, blood and sweat that was mixed into the rain soaked clothes he wore. He left the rain as he arrived into the entrance of the building, Fiora quickly joined his side, "I will need to change, as you can tell."

"There is clothes for you in the bathroom, I believe there are girls there."

"Which ones?"

"Cassidy, Elena and Gina."

"Okay, well, I'll head there anyways, they shouldn't be bothered, I'll be careful."

"Okay, let me take your blade, and daggers."

"Sure, thank you, Fiora," He handed her his wet belt and blade, "Thank you."
