A Quest Of Honor

What was honor? What did it truly mean to be a great knight? Weylyn was not certain, as a descendant from a lineage of the kingdom's greatest knights, it seemed Weylyn's destiny was already set in stone. To many, it would seem Weylyn had been dealt a lot of tremendous honor, born into a family with a thousand year history of knighthood, Weylyn possessed natural gifts and great skill and had long already been named among the kingdom's greatest knights. However fate was an interesting thing and when disaster strikes, the fate of the Kinouri Empire rests on it's greatest knight, but of what use was a great knight who had long lost fate in her own kingdom? Weylyn finds herself with a destiny greater than what she had bargained for... With darkness looming and a quest of great consequence long prophesied, Weylyn must chose to either forego past grudges or be the very reason the mission fails and the empire is destroyed. __________________ ~Snippet~ He stared down at her, eyes aflame with his desire for her. She lifted a hand to his bare chest, trailing her fingers slowly over his well defined muscles. Learn To Be Human (Ch.124)

The sound of movement from outside the healer's tent awakened Maedor to the break of dawn.

His eyes fluttered open tiredly and he got up to a seating position, glancing around the tent for a moment.

It took this moment for Maedor to recall that he was not in his quarters in the royal villa of the Sunthron Forest, instead he was in a tent somewhere out in the mortal world.

Maedor heaved a quiet sigh, he was now part of the travelling troupe and he had agreed to work diligently with Fiona and learn the healing arts to assist her.

The travelling troupe would be leaving their rest stop soon, at the first break of daylight and Maedor had awakened just in time to meet up with the activities.

Maedor rose to his feet and grabbed a change of clothes, it was his first day as a member of the troupe and so he wanted to make a good impression.

Rising up late when the troupe was already prepared to depart would not tell good of him.
