A Quest Of Honor

What was honor? What did it truly mean to be a great knight? Weylyn was not certain, as a descendant from a lineage of the kingdom's greatest knights, it seemed Weylyn's destiny was already set in stone. To many, it would seem Weylyn had been dealt a lot of tremendous honor, born into a family with a thousand year history of knighthood, Weylyn possessed natural gifts and great skill and had long already been named among the kingdom's greatest knights. However fate was an interesting thing and when disaster strikes, the fate of the Kinouri Empire rests on it's greatest knight, but of what use was a great knight who had long lost fate in her own kingdom? Weylyn finds herself with a destiny greater than what she had bargained for... With darkness looming and a quest of great consequence long prophesied, Weylyn must chose to either forego past grudges or be the very reason the mission fails and the empire is destroyed. __________________ ~Snippet~ He stared down at her, eyes aflame with his desire for her. She lifted a hand to his bare chest, trailing her fingers slowly over his well defined muscles. His skin was warm beneath her fingertips and his breath caught in his throat as he trembled beneath her touch, He lifted a hand to reciprocate her ministrations and she stepped back. "Please Lynn..." Awake (Ch.87)

Weylyn's eyes fluttered open, a quiet gasp escaped her lips as her hand shot up to her forehead where a searing ache radiated through her temple.

For a moment, Weylyn felt disoriented and her vision was hazy and unfocused, her surroundings tilted and Weylyn let her eyes flutter closed again to ease her discomfort.

It did not take even a moment for the memories of all that had happened leading to this time to come flooding back to to her mind, the ache in Weylyn's head was a good enough reminder.

The vortex beast...it was gone, not gone completely of course, it would be lurking around somewhere, but no one would be harmed by it anymore.

The goblins were also gone and peace was restored to the East Domain, the quest was complete but Weylyn was not certain how to feel about it.
