Pestering thoughts.

It was a little more than a month since Isac went on that blind date. Chairman grandpa had assumed that everything was going pretty smoothly and hence he did not disturb Isac for a whole month. He thought he'll give them sometime to get to know each other and they can get married.

Grandpa decided to visit Isac after work hours. It was almost six in the evening so he went to the office. As usual he found Isac working hard and not taking a break. He sighed at the sight of Isac and sat in the couch. Isac saw his grandfather and stopped his work and made his way to the couch and sat in the opposite direction.

"So how's everything going on? " Grandpa asked without any context but Isac clearly understood that he was talking about his blind date. "It's over" He gave a short answer in return.

His grandfather was getting a little annoyed now. "You know that we are getting old right? I understand that you don't want to get married but atleast get yourself a girlfriend so that I and your grandma will rest in peace. Who knows how long we have? And it's especially your Grandma's last wish."

Isac sat there in silence. His grandparents were the only family he had. They were his world. He didn't need anyone else other than them but truth is they were already very old. His grandmother had a fatal fall and now she was hospitalised to make things worse. She kept telling Isac to get married and that she was holding onto her life just to see him get married.

Thay was the reason why he rushed and insisted Calista to get married. But he even understood that it was not as simple as that. He had to fall in love with someone but that would take a lot of time. If he were on the pursuit of love journey it was going to take forever. He had to do something about this whole situation.

His grandfather saw him sit there in silence for the first time. Usually Isac would've said something back but now he looked like he was seriously considering it.

"How's grandma now? please tell her I'll be back a little late today and I'll bring her favorite dumplings" Isac spoke and got up to continue his work.

His grandfather had nothing else to say anymore. If he was going to be like that then nothing could be done.

He left the office without saying much. Isac looked at the door that was closed. He had to do something about it. His thoughts were starting to pester him.

He couldn't believe that he almost thought about talking about this to Calista again. The reason why he thought about Calista was he actually couldn't remember the people he had went on a blind date with.

Annoyed he let out a long sigh so that he could continue focusing on his work and get it done quickly and go meet his grandmother.
