She’s fine!

Richard’s POV

On getting to the hospital, Vanessa was admitted and quickly taken to the emergency room while I lobbied at the corridor, pacing and waiting.

After waiting for more than 10 minutes, I got a call, it was from my mom.

“Richard!”

“Mom, everything is fine and I don’t want you to worry about anything. Just stay at your place and I’ll come get you and my daughter tomorrow morning”

There was silence for a few seconds before she finally said something.

“I didn’t ask you if anything was wrong, Richard. You just hinted at it just now, what’s going on with you son?” Her voice was laced with concern

“I’m sorry mom, I can’t tell you because of your health. You might not like it and I don’t want you to get panic or scared or anything”
