Luis and Rosa left the training room early morning and went to their room to freshen up. At this time most of the students had begun to wake up and get ready for their first day of learning.
Everyone left their rooms and met in the assembly hall with Viola and Lee standing on the stage waiting for all the students to arrive so they could start addressing the group of first year learners. Slowly the place began to feel up as people entered with their creatures. Smiles beamed on everyone's faces as they entered.
"Looks like all of you are finally in your seats and we can proceed with today's event," Viola began, "I know this will sound tough and impossible since some of you are hardly able to fight with their creature. We'll be going into the portal where each one of you will find their soul weapon. You could refer to it as a treasure hunt."
"Exactly," Lee began speaking, "There is a possibility you'll come across some dangerous beasts therefore we'll ask you to get into groups of four so you can protect each other in such situations. The other reason for the group is to make this hunt more exciting, we want to see which will win the hunt. This means all of them will have their weapons with them when the return to the starting point."
Students were already looking at each other to see who to group up with.
Viola interrupted the arousing chattering, "In these groups, there'll basically be two pairs in each group. You'll each be required to carry with you a bag with items that will be necessary for the hunt. If you find yourself unable to fight whichever trouble you come across then you can just call for help and we'll be at your aid."
"We'll be there for as long as possible since it won't be easy for some of you to find your weapon. As of now, we grant you time to get into your teams and register through the rings. When everyone's ready at exactly one o'clock, we het to the portals and in fifteen minutes the hunt will begin. This means you have," she looks at the watch in her wrist, "An hour."
"Good luck with the teaming up. It could be tougher than you think," Lee concludes.
Everyone stood up and ran to their partners so they could decide on which pair to team up with. It was visible that everyone wanted to team up with a pair that has a higher ranking, which was five amongst the first years. All that Rosa and Luis could think of was the first day when they were despised because they had no guide so they sat next to each other waiting to see which pair is left and they could pair with them.
"Do you really think anyone will come?" Rosa asked getting worried about their situation.
"I don't think so but still, someone will have to team up with us right?"
"Yeah. I'm kinda lucky to get paired up with you," Rosa said looking at Luis who didn't even flinch a muscle but sat there calmly looking at people teaming up.
"Why's that?"
"It's like you always find the best solution for everything. You hardly stress out on anything, it's something I adore in you."
"Even you have great characteristics, I just have to spend more-"
A voice interrupted their conversation, "You guys found any soul to team up with?"
They both looked at each other then the pair standing in front of them, one is a blonde haired girl while the other is a guy with familiar viking gold hair. Luke and Anna stood there looking at the other two eagerly awaiting their response.
-------
"Now that everyone is ready. Let's enter the portal room," Viola cheerfully said showing them the door.
They enter in fours and in front of each quad a group of four creatures walked or flew into the room. Though they were smiling, nervousness was the humidity of the room. No one knew what awaited them.
"How does endangering our lives help us?" A shaky student asked as he entered the room.
"Well, it helps you find you connection with you creature and learn to work with your partner cause they'll be the same till you leave this place. Unless there is a valid reason to change them. Most importantly, it helps you find you weapon and some important soul crystals."
"Does everything need the word 'soul' in it," someone else shot from the back.
"Well, not really but since all these are connected to you, it seemed to be the best word to use."
Everyone stood and listened attentively to the instructions they were being given. They all seemed to be eager at the same time afraid to get their weapons.
"So boys, girls and creatures of course. Get ready. For THE HUNT!!!!" Lee said in a hysterical manner
