Hunting a lizard III.

"So, Spider-Man, are you okay?"

"Yes, I wasn't hurt, what about you?" He asked with a worried tone and began to observe me, even though nothing could be seen given the divine power and the outfit.

I had already checked him with my eyes and with my Haki and I didn't feel any obvious injuries, which made me happy since I saw the destroyed places, due to the lizard man and crocodiles, not to mention the same ones passed out next door.

So looking at Pet and the sewer entrance, I asked Spider-Man.

"Well, shall we continue the lizard hunt?" 

"Yes. And immortal I want to try to cure the teacher if possible…. So could we try to capture him and then see what we do?"

I heard what he was saying and I was already expecting that... but I had no idea how, despite being intelligent, I would be limited in helping him with this matter, which would do all the work for him... and as if stimulating me, another notification appeared in front of me with the system bringing missions as always.

Mission: Cure the lizard man.

Objective: join Spider-Man and help cure Professor Conor's virus.

Reward for capturing him: Omnitrix (limited to one hour of transformation with a 30-minute cooldown): Only the arthropod Alien will be available.

Reward for healing him: Spring of Life Water Bottle (single use)

Reward for killing him: Ancient power from the land of the White Star.

Partial or total mission failure: future villain released into the world.

Looking at the notification I was surprised in several ways, first it was divided into several parts.

The second is that the reward for capturing him is something extremely interesting and that I really want since it was one of my favorite programs and is considered one of the most powerful weapons in the universe, even though there is only one alien unlocked. Furthermore, the specific alien has diverse capabilities and the intellectual capacity and knowledge is extremely powerful and will allow me to help Peter.

For the last point, the surprise is that the reward of killing him is quite powerful and useful... as if he was trying to tempt me... but I didn't plan on doing that unless as a last option, and the reward of healing is also useful since it can act like an emergency letter is a life saver.

And looking at Peter I answered without hesitation.

We continued walking and naturally the smell in this place was very bad, especially this was increased given Peter and I's superior physique which made it more unbearable. I raised the staff towards him and a yellow barrier that covered me and Peter made it so that his teeth could do nothing but touch the barrier like a chew toy and without causing any real damage.

In my staff, yellowish energy gathered at the tip like a sphere and I shot it directly, making it fly and hit the bottom of the water with force.

 Another one also came out of the bottom of the sewage water and this time Spider-Man seemed to want to resolve it himself, as he came out of the barrier of his own accord and shot web into his mouth, preventing him from biting. And then he continued, attaching web to his back and using it as a rope, he pulled him hard, the giant crocodile flew like a light plastic toy and was thrown to the ground right in front of me, breaking the ground and making him faint.

"Tsk… what a strong blow… his strength seems to be improving with time… although it's hard to tell." 

I just kicked the crocodile and threw it into the water while looking at Peter who stopped next to me.

"Did you want to stretch a little?" I spoke with a slightly provocative tone.

"Yes. I also wanted to help"

He spoke with a smiling voice behind the mask and we continued walking and accelerated our movement a little.

On the way we hit some more crocodiles, one I gave two strong kicks like Goku, magoi shots or wind arrows.

And we finally found our target.

But specifically I found him, entering a region with different pipes I activated my god eyes with Qi, to discover the path and inside a tunnel and inside one of them I saw him, with reptilian eyes he was staring outside the cave and it also seems to have spotted us, getting into a hunting position and as if prepared to kill.

I looked and whispered to Peter.

"Wait back here."

After I said that, I didn't wait for a response from him and I flew a little forward, staying below the place and observing the river as if I wasn't looking for anything, while my mental power through Vision Haki covered a few meters around me.

Peter simply stood there looking at the surroundings, and a few minutes later I smiled, because the lizard seemed to have decided to act.
