Chapter 20. Jealous.

"Sir! Sir if you please don't mind, can you take your hand off me now." Ah! I had forgotten that I had held her back. Letting go of her hand, I put some distance between us. Now that she had reminded me of our position I felt more embarrassed than she was, asking myself how we ended up this way. If it weren't for her words which served as a reminder then I probably might have not been embarrassed.

 "Nevermind that now. Get rid of any stupid idea you have up there, you can resume work tomorrow if only you agree to not do anything silly. When you're done thinking about it, have Penelope come upstairs." At this moment, Rebecca beams brightly.

The first thing that flooded my head when I saw her smile was, 'Puppy?!' As if longing to hear these words, she nods her head.
