I pushed the covers back and stared at the clock as the morning sun found its way through the window. Graduation was less than four hours away. In four hours, we would have one year of school remaining and then we were free.
Aurelius warned us next year would be nothing like the three previous years. He said we would do things we never thought possible. When we were alone, he reminded me my goal was to conquer all my fears, learn all the elements and become the Supreme I was called to be. It was a lot to put on a girl.
"You don't look like you got enough sleep," Kyler watched me from the bedroom door. He closed the door and then joined me on the bed. "Since when did you start sleeping in the nude."
"Since I thought maybe one of you would visit in the middle of the night last night. Don't tell me you already need the little blue pills?"
