Chapter 32: End Him

I was still waiting for the fundraiser to start. I looked around to see a sign for its beginning, but everyone was just chatting while stealing glances at me.

I received a text from Di.

"Just tell me about it already! When are you coming home?"

"We have to sleep over, according to the rules of the Montgomery’s."

"What?! I’m sure that feels like being held hostage, you would never do it willingly."

"Aiden and his cousins are watching the doors!" I sent the laughing emoji.

"If there’s a handsome, smart and confident cousin, you know what to do."

"I know, I’ll hook you up if I see one."

"Have some nice drinks and say hi to Aiden."

"Sure."

I lifted my head up after texting. Aiden was chatting with Theo while his arm was around my waist.

"Di sends her regards," I chuckled.

"I’m sure she wanted to put a camera on your forehead to not miss anything," Aiden smirked.

"She’s waiting for my report," I smiled.
