CHAPTER 5: It in the woods
/ Aria has to catch Chris that he is not a Luxamy.
Chris: but how?
Aria: well, I was impressed with your way of speaking at first, so I know you are not from Skiburg, it was not suspicious by the way. Until you lied about being alone. I know it because you hesitated before answering my question. So I went to the storage and confirmed my suspicious but I wanted to know who you are protecting and why. I didn't know you saw an Exciobil until Vlad Cogred mentions it, but it started to become complicated, so I came up with a solution of calling you a Luxamy, I was hoping you do expose yourself which you didn't. I saw the way you are nervous then I was sure you are still lying that when my second and third suspicious solved that you are not a witch because witches never lie and you are certainly not a hunter. But I was still convinced that you were a Luxamy until you admitted that you are a Luxamy. A Luxamy would rather die than expose himself. And I find out who you are protecting.
Chris: who?
Aria: when we went outside you turn to wave at Rose. See, I got you.
Chris: Wow, you sound like Sherlock Holmes.
Aria: who, now?
Chris: he is a det.... never mind.
Aria: so, you have something to say about it?
Chris: and what makes you think I'm not a hunter
Aria: I work as a hunter for 15 years now Chris.
Chris: 15 years? which means you know every hunter.
/ She nods...You both fall silent and start walking again.
A little further in the wood, you sigh...
Chris: why the witch doesn't lie?
/ she turns to look at you surprisingly...
Aria: really after everything I just tell you that your question?
Chris: well, we have to start somewhere
/ Aria sighs and starts walking again...
Aria: There is a concept witch used, says "Lying makes you powerless"
Chris: which means?
Aria: This means that if you lie, you are afraid of the one who asks a question.
Chris: well, they have a point there.
Aria: that's why people of Luxamina agree. So, who are you afraid of Chris?
/ But before you respond... You hear a loud voice in the wood. She shushes you and follows the voice, you hush behind her... until you see this...
Chris: oh, shit.....shit!!!!
Aria: can you see it?
Chris: don't you...it freaking right in front of us.
Aria: I still don't believe that you can see it. Don't you have secretly a Zirlyck?
Chris: now...it's. not.. the time.
/she nods incredulously...
Aria: don't worry, it hasn't seen us yet, so, I will catch it by surprise. Do. Not. Move.
/You nod your head while she slowly stands up and heads toward the monster. She takes something from her pocket and throws it in the direction of the monster. The Exciobil freezes. Suddenly the forest becomes quiet and she laughs at you...
Aria: and that's how we freeze an Exciobil by surprise
/ she takes a glass bottle from her satchel and gets closer to the monster.....
Aria: and now, Mr. Exciobil is the time to take your nap.
/She starts murmuring... until the monster starts to move
Chris: wait... I thought it was supposed to freeze. is that supposed to happen?
/she stops murmuring and opens her eyes.
Aria: what a bloody hell is happening...
/before she finished the sentence a black massive blast of wind shoots her into the air. She slams her head into the tree. You rush over her
Chris: Aria...wake up... hey..stand up Aria... please
/She slowly opens her eyes. Her voice is weak
Aria: catch..that...bottle, get closer and say the last word.." Actrassary" don't miss it, Chris.
/then her eyes shut... you turn to see the monster try to escape from the glass and make your way to where the bottle is. You grab it and say" at assay" but nothing happens. You try to remember the word...until the monster is free, the bottle slipped into your hand then shatters into pieces beneath you. You watch in horror as the monster turns around and rushes towards you, you turn and take a leak but you hit your head in a nearby branch. You open your eyes and find the monster above you like it doesn't see you...until you heard a groan. The monster turns again and rushes towards Aria. You quickly stand up, open Aria's satchel, and find an extra bottle. You open it and... Aria screams
Aria: ACTRASSARY
/you respond after her...
Chris: ACTRASSARY
/An enormous tornado paces around the Exciobil, you close your eyes but keep the bottle pointing at the monster....until silence. Everything goes quiet, you hear Aria's weak voice.
Aria: close....close it now
/you open your eyes and find the bottle full of black smoke in your hand, that moment it makes sense that the black smoke is probably the Exciobil, so you close it.
You put the bottle on the satchel and rush to Aria.
Chris: Are you alright
Aria: I'm fine, the threat is gone.
Chris: Are we safe now? how long is it gonna stay there?
Aria: Chris! We are safe now. And it going to stay there as long as I decide.
Chris: forever?
Aria: forever then
/you both laugh...
Aria: Okay, we have it. Let go.
/Aria tries to stand up on her feet but collapses on the ground.
Chris: ARIA.
Aria: it's nothing, just a scratch.
/ you see her knee blending.
Chris: Well, that doesn't look like a scratch to me
/she looks at the wound...then chuckles.
Aria: wow, I didn't feel that
Chris: it's probably the adrenaline
Aria: probably.
Chris: Well, I will...
/While you are thinking... She takes her satchel and pulls out a gray leaf.
Chris: Wow, I never see that before.
Aria: it a Paxil. Find only in the north of Luxamina
Chris: and...what so special about it?
Aria: well, it cures a scratch, an injury, and a stomach pain if you eat it....in a minute
Chris: what? In a minute
/she smiles at you and she tries to reach her knee to put a leaf on but it is difficult for her. You hold her hand.
Chris: let me. Please
/ you whisper to her your last word. She lets out a heavy sigh then gives you the leaf. You slowly put it on her knee. She bites her lips then threw her head back. You move slowly as a little scream escape her...her voice come out as she moans
Aria: ooohhh, just right there... little up
/ you finish and wrap a little part of your fabric on her knee. She locks her eyes with yours, mouthing forlornly
Aria: Thank you, Chris.
/ you lean close as she does the same...until your forehead touched
Aria: you haven't won the trust to lean so close to me yet.
/You stand up abruptly and cleared your throat...
Chris: we should...we should go.
Aria: indeed, we should.
/ you help her to her feet then you headed to the palace
A moment later in the palace. Aria filled everyone in as quickly as possible avoiding some details about what happened in the wood.
Aria: .....and then Chris trapped it in a bottle.
Queen: what you did was brave out there Chris. You help my empire. We are in your debt.
Chris: Thank you, my queen. I only have one request.
Queen: Which is?
Chris: I do like to stay in Skiburg a little longer if it doesn't cause any trouble.
Queen: your request is accepted. Besides, I would like to have a strong and courageous man like you by my side
Chris: I would like to stay as a maid, not as a knight. I try to avoid violence as much as I can
Queen: Chris, if that is what you wish, it is okay with me. Now go put that bottle in my cast, I don't want anyone get nearby to touch it in here
Chris: yes, your highness
/ you make your way to the queen chamber for the first time. You open the door and find a big cast in front of you. You make your way to it, open it, and put the bottle. You close the cast then it happens again. Something starts glowing inside the cast and catches your eyes. You open the cast again and find a SentrySafe. Something glowing inside the Sentrysafe...you shake your head in disbelief but you probably already know what it is...
Chris: oohh, no...no...it can be!!!
What is inside that sentry safe? Would Chris find out? How?
