Between The Two

"Are you kidding me?" Ivan blurted in disbelief after seeing Augustus almost leaping over the mannequin, hooking his one leg around it while balancing himself on the other, hiding his vampire self from the man friend till it dissipated and came back to normal. He turned his back still hugging the mannequin and bobbed his head up.

"What are you doing?" Ivan crossed his arms looking at his invasive friend furiously.

A well-maintained body with the right amount of flesh everywhere gave the raven-haired all wrong directions to his already lost mind.

"I- in this world full of people, I tried to find a companion who can thank me for my existence" Augustus made up something quickly.

"Wow, so poetic! No wonder the lady mannequin looks so offended" Sarcasm dripped from Ivan's voice as he talked.

Augustus huffed, passing the situation awkwardly.

" If you are done hugging the mannequin then do me a favor! Hold this one and help me to detangle" Ivan handed a shirt to his hand and went towards the other chosen stuff. Augustus couldn't believe how much he was affected but the other wasn't. He saw the former getting busy again in choosing shirts, the raven-haired felt a need to divert himself from this tempting human in front of him.

"Wow, not even a single thanks for my previous gesture of help!" he blurted, grabbing Ivan's attention. He threw the shirt at him after unbuttoning it and gave a displeased look.

"Didn't my pleading pleased you much?" Ivan sassily replied and turned his back while grabbing another piece of shirt, moving inside further.

Augustus's eyes fell on Ivan's butt, causing him to hitch in his breathing and bit his lower lip.

"It can be more pleasing Tiny" he raspily blurted following Ivan to the trial room.

"What?" when the man's friend snapped his face back and found him standing closer, towering over him.

Ivan's eyes fell on the shirt when Augustus moved his hand in the front, holding the shirt, "If you try this,"

"Oh well alright. Stay here" Ivan said, grabbing the shirt and going inside an empty changing room.

The satin piece of silver shirt rolled down from his neck, covering his body. He looked none other than a tempting flower of a seduction.

Augustus wished not to have such mind power to see everything through the door.

Ivan pouted, resting his chin over his hands and grinning wide. "How do I look?"

Augustus had never witnessed a kind of human who can give him dual thoughts, appearing sexy and cute at once. It wasn't giving him straight thoughts.

"Worst. Change it" hearing such rude comments from his friend, Ivan felt annoyed.

"What the fuck! You were the one to give it to me"

"Hun?" Augustus looked baffled but he masked it. "Well did I? Nevermind, I am telling you to change it now!"

"Nope!" popping the P loudly he refused to follow his friend's words.

"Tiny, change it right now!" saying this he held the rim of his shirt but Ivan protested.

"Why? I like this"

"But I don't"

"I am the one who is going to wear it not you"

"Are you changing this or -?"

"Or else what will you do?" Ivan stepped forward, crossing his arms, baffling the former with his blazing glare. But the former vampire smacked his head mentally reminding himself of what he is!

He too stepped forward towering over his man friend.

"Tiny" his deep voice affected Ivan but he didn't show it on his face. " How many times I have to tell you to change it or else I will rip it off so you won't touch it again"

Ivan huffed. "Touch it and you are gone!"

Augustus dived to the former level and whispered in his ear "Trust me I am good at ripping off"

Ivan stepped back with a confusing frown and anger on his face. "Oh trust me I also don't like your black suits either. Looks like you are attending a funeral or something. But that doesn't mean I will roam with scissors in my bag. "

Augustus chuckled deeply and the next moment became serious.

"Tiny! Don't be stubborn!" When Augustus tried to roll up his shirt, Ivan jerked his hands off. Something strikes in his mind and he smirked, "Not before you say please"

Augustus threw his glance around feeling impossible with the man in front of him.

"Please" it desperately left from the former's mouth. How much he wanted to wander his eyes on the former's smooth milky body one more time. Just accept that you want to see him naked! His conscious mind mocked him and he couldn't defer with the thought.

Ivan smiled in victory and poutingly said, "No, I won't"

That made the raven-haired murmur incoherent under his breath. Augustus felt frustrated when Ivan paid no heed to him but immediately shut the doors of his mind after noticing Kai walk in holding a few chosen attires.

Looking at Ivan, he abruptly halted in a way with his mouth ajar opened. He gulped, eyeing him from head to toe. The clothes fell from his hands. His heartbeats paced up looking at the ruffled hair human in silver satin silk shirt giving an after sex glowing look.

"Here he is! Now Kai will tell me how I look!" Ivan dashed near the recently whipped one.

Augustus felt confident that Kai's reply would be the same as his.

Kai stared at him, completely bowled over by his look. A cough interrupted his chain of thoughts and he looked over Augustus who just read his mind.

"You look damn good in this," Kai smiled.

Ivan jumped in victory. "Yass yasss, you are my true friend Kai" he turned to Augustus, smiling triumphantly. "Somebody got a taste unlike you"

Kai chuckled over a thought of how Ivan never leaves a chance to mock, taunt, trigger the latter one.

Augustus threw his hands in defeat. "Whatever" saying this he walked out of the trial room and once out he exhaled heavily.

To his front, Moon approached him grabbing everyone's attention and stood in front of Augustus.

"Now tell me, how do I look?"

She appeared beautiful as always but right now Augustus's mind wasn't in place and he disliked not being in control of his own.

Ivan stepped forward excitedly.

"Wow, Moon, you look as pretty as a picture of that model over there" he pointed at the exquisite model on the LED's screen of the advertisement.

Kai smiled in agreement. He glanced at Augustus who looked everywhere except the Moon. His eyebrows slightly furrowed knowing his sister's mind but unable to catch his introverted friend.

"Thank you, Ivan." She smiled masking her expectation of getting a compliment from Augustus but received nothing. He rubbed his face after glancing over alluring Ivan and strolled ahead. Moon though he is trying hard to not let himself open in front of her. She felt shy when he walked past her, murmuring, "Lord have some mercy on me"

Augustus felt Ivan's appearance not placing his mind in a right way.

The three decided to leave the place, going towards their destination for tonight.

The moment Ivan reached outside the Borbon's nightclub, he saw a long waiting queue outside and could feel many eyes diverted towards them. He could guess his friend's popularity among them. The owner of the nightclub, a famous supermodel Augustus Borbon has arrived with a popular underground boxer Kai, who wouldn't gather to stare at them? Everyone wants to be a witness of the sight of rarity.

The bouncers and guards bowed to them.

"Guys, tonight's theme is a couple's entries!" Moon talked while checking the theme card in her hand. She appeared excited.

Enough eyes were on her already but her eyes were on Augustus wishing to take a couple's entry with him.

Kai leaned closer to Ivan whispering, "We shall go together"

Ivan hesitantly looked at him.

"But we aren't a couple"

"Then we will be for tonight" Kai whispered, making his man friend bemused.

Ivan chuckled nervously shifting away from Kai.

Augustus could feel constant gazes from the Moon while she stood closer to him. No matter how much he tried to avoid her, she wasn't giving up. He briskly moved near Ivan and hooked his hand inside his arm. "Let's go Tiny"

Moon's face fell seeing how the eclipse lover avoided her while her brother came forward.

"Amor is going with me, why don't you and Moon go together?" hearing Kai's words, the aforementioned girl's face lit up with joy while the raven-haired couldn't stand it.

"I- she doesn't want to go with me but him" Augustus randomly fetched a guy out of the queue, who adjusted his spectacles and appeared baffled completely. He pulled himself away from the raven-haired, giving a weird look at him of disapproval.

Kai couldn't understand why Augustus was hesitating to choose the Moon!

"It's alright, Augustus, don't need to feel awkward. I permit you to be with my sister because I trust you"

Augustus shook his head smiling helplessly. "It would be good if Tiny decides this. I will just pass"

"Amor and I have decided, right?" Kai looked at Ivan for an answer.

"Tiny, choose me" Augustus whispered to him.

Ivan startled, glancing shuffled between the duplets and struck with an idea. He stepped back and brought the duplets closer by pulling their arms.

"You two don't have a choice now"

Looking at their hands brought together, Augustus and Kai immediately let go of it.

"Whaat?" "NO"

Before they catch their man friend, saw him dashed towards the upset Moon. He wanted to get away from a possible quarrel between the two so he can enjoy the night further.

"Let's go" before the duplets protest, Ivan dragged her further in the nightclub not giving a chance to the two, who stood there baffled on the spot. Moon glanced back at Augustus before completely going inside.

Kai and Augustus stood near the entrance looking at each other's faces.

The azure head burst into laughter pondering over Ivan's idea. "Ahh that smart human"

He offered his hand to the raven-haired with a teasing smile, "Shall we?"

"As if I've got any choice!" he gave his hand disinterestedly to Kai and both finally took an entry.
