Chapter 2

The vale of Karantis lies in the southeast of the continent. From his seat parakis, King Calan ruled over the vale and brought an age of peace and prosperity. He secured trade routes throughout the vale by pushing back orc tribes, who had spread chaos and destruction before his reign. Sadly, all great men must come to an end, and with that Calan's spirit had fled the earth. Shortly after his funeral, his eldest son, Eric, took his place as the rightful ruler of the kingdom.

Respectfully so Eric wasn't twice the man his father was… Annoyed by Eric's disability to be king, his younger brother, Van, called for a rebellion an act of resistance to free the kingdom from his brother's reign. Van gathered his supporters in Varron and when the time had come, he mustered near the city! Thanks to his spies, Eric knew about Van's utter betrayal! And when his brother wanted to start the assault, Eric's soldiers were ready to fight them.

A bloody battle took place at the river, neither side ever gaining an advantage. Unable to come to a peace agreement, the armies garrisoned their positions. And so the vale got divided between the two brothers' rivalry. While Van made his seat in Varron, Eric returned to Parakis. Because of this still unsettled conflict, the whole vale is in a constant state of unrest, with both kings pushing their subjects to the limits. It is at hand that both want to win the conflict at any cost. With the military engaged, the orcs saw their opportunity. They expanded their borders and pillaged nearby villages… While both kings sat behind their walls, doing nothing.

Van is rumored to receive further support from the Nordic countries. Because of that, Eric has now called almost every man to arms to finally decide the conflict in his favor. During this time, a year after the first battle, our story begins arenfield, and while not at the center of the war, is under constant pressure from king eric and the orcs at the same time. The local hunter, Marcus, struggles to keep up with the given taxes….

*Yawn* What a night. I'm really not getting younger...Marcus stated while stretching

The sun is rising a good day to on a hunt! I should check on my bum of a son Gabriel…

Well, this is nothing new was probably drinking out late in the pub last night with what's his name again.

But nope I was wrong it wasn't the cheat book it was a coin pouch that had a letter attached to it and the letter said…

Also, you may have noticed that your skin is definitely more darker than canon like I previously mentioned that's not all that has changed you have dreads similar to your past life and although it's not going to really do anything because of your interesting wish I brought over your not so little brother from your last life and I changed around the main character's face and that's about it have fun enjoy and remember to enjoy your life to the fullest>.

"Damn r.o.b taking away the chance to breeze through this verse but then again I can't really complain I get to live In my favorite sexual game and get to get laid unlimitedly so it's more of a win-win situation anyways I've been taking too long in here its time to leap and enjoy this new life".

I quickly grab my bow and put it on my back along with what seems to be an empty axe sleeve that also goes comfortably on my back effectively equipping both.

"Welp this is it time to start my new life"….

for the star, I put on time manipulation If you've never played a struggle with sin before it's a function in the game that allows you to wait at a certain place without being really bothered by what's around you or time so basically it's just really really basic time manipulation.
