"And your school? Didn't you see him today and even came to meet him in the hospital just now?"
Grace's eyes flashed with indignation as she turned to face him.
"I've said I never did any of those. He came to me. I didn't go to him. And for the meeting this afternoon, I never knew he would be in the hospital."
"Were you even planning to tell me about any of these meetings, Grace?" Jace asked in a pained voice.
He ran a hand through his hair as if he had a grudge against the hair.
"Do you find him attractive?" He asked, staring intently at Grace.
"Huh?" Grace's eyes widened in shock, caught off guard by the unexpected question.
"Why would you even think that?"
Jace looked away, a hint of discomfort flickering across his features. "Are you attracted to him?" he repeated.
"Whether I find him attractive or not is my private business, but like I told you before, I won't allow myself to be used by anyone to get at you."
