Ch. 244 The Intruder's Identity
When Anxia first noticed the arrival of an intruder, Anxia was confident that it was not her husband who had come here. She remembered Richard's ability to sneak in, nor was his fighting ability any better than when Anxia was fighting seriously.
Tonight Anxia fought seriously because she thought the person who had intruded was her mother's man who wanted to eavesdrop on their conversation.
She had no idea that her husband had entered the room!
Anxia only became convinced when she saw the brown eyes shining with a mischievous gleam and looked at her with interest when he saw Anxia's frustrated expression.
For a moment, Anxia was relieved to recognize her husband, but the relief vanished instantly to be replaced by utter annoyance. If Richard had known from the start that Anxia was in this room, why didn't that man stop their fight and continue acting like he was attacking her?
