Chapter Two

➜ [ Middleton ]

Cameron stared at the ceiling feeling a bit out of touch with himself. The alarm already went for school and as much as he wanted to get up for his third week of the new school, his body wouldn't allow him to.

A couple of minutes passed by and Cameron finally mustered the strength and got up from his spot. He made his move into the bathroom where he showered and then to the kitchen where he ate some cereal.

Cameron wore a black shirt with white stripes, with a short blue jean pants. He exited his home and started his journey to school.

"Hey Lenardo!" A familiar voice called.

Cameron stopped to turn around, "Oh Maddie..." He recognised.

"Never expected you as the late type." Maddie started conversation.

"It's the third week of the new school year, I'm really not feeling coming early."

"I get that, I was planning on bunking today."

"Bunking? Seems like a difficult thing to accomplish, you sure your parents would allow you to do that?"

"Nah. But who gives a fuck about what they think I should do."

Cameron chuckled, "Still the same old badass rebel."

Maddie felt a bit flustered following the comment, "Y-you think I'm badass- I mean yeah of course I am."

"Highschool is weird am I right?"

"Yeah. To be honest with you, I never expected myself to even have made it this far."

"Same."

➜ [ Middleton [ Highschool ]

Cameron and Maddie arrived about five minutes before the bell rang. The two were in the same class so they didn't really worry about being scold out since it wouldn't only apply to one of them.

As the two made their way up the staircase that lead into the school they were greeted by the sight of four students obviously in their grade relaxing outside. The four students didn't really seem to care that the bell was about to ring.

"They kind of remind me of you." Maddie said, "You and your friends would always be doing this type of stuff."

"I guess we grew out of it or something."

"Yo Maddalen!" One of the students called throwing a can at Cameron and Maddie. "Come hang drink a soda with us, your friend there can join as well."

Maddie turned to Cameron who didn't seem like he had any interest in drinking with them and shook her head, "Nah, we'll pass."

The two after making the right choice entered the school building and made their way into their class. Neither of them got a huge scolding, they were only reminded on the fact that they were late.

➜ [ Later ]

Later in the day during recess period Cameron and Addie were laying besides one another underneath the bright sun. The two were reminiscing about old times and how they missed the group, when a boy ran up to them.

"Cameron, Addie you two have to come see this shit."

Cameron pulled himself up to his butt, "What are you talking about Jason?"

"Rebellious, those four students are about to do some dope as shit."

Addie was the first to get up. Cameron sighed and for up after Addie.

Jason started leading the two boys to the side of the field Rebellious was around, while heading to their destination it was clear to see how empty the field was so it was clear that a lot of students heard about whatever they were gonna do.

Jason, Cameron and Addie made their way to the crowd that was gazing up at the school rooftop. Addie had a look of excitement and frustration, while Cameron had a small look of worry.

Rebellious stood on top of the roof with the cafeteria food in hand. The crowd started cheering for the group.

"Damnit." Addie sounded.

"What's up with you?" Cameron asked raising an eye brow to Addie.

"They use to cheer for our group like this when we did something like that."

"Yeah they use to, but-"

"-i know, I know... Let's join them."

"Wait what? No you're kidding, we can't join them we're gonna get in trouble."

"When has that ever stopped us from getting into shit."

"Well never, but-"

"-exactly. We can still make names for ourselves, we can be the top group in the school like we were in middle school."

"Dude we can't be doing that, we're in highschool now we need to focus."

"We were seniors last year and we always got into shit Cameron yet we always managed to do well."

"Addie dude what the fuck-"

One of the female rebellious members dropped the pack of food down. Another female member pushed a shredder underneath the area the packet was about to fall to. The packet fell into the machine and it started shredding it.

A teacher came sprinting out from their classroom which forced everyone to quickly run off. Addie on the other hand ran up to the female rebellious member that had the machine. Cameron noticed his friend leave and quickly ran up to him, he grabbed Addie by the arm and started running.

"What's wrong with you!" Cameron exclaimed to his friend, "You could have gotten detention or something."

"Dude let go of me." Addie pulled his arm out of Camerons grasp. "I wasn't going to get into trouble for anything, we never get into that big of trouble for these stuff."

"Addie the type of nonsense they get into is different compared to the nonsense we get into, you can clearly see they do bad stuff to push a course while we did bad stuff for the fun of it."

"Bad stuff? You never use to refer to it as bad stuff, and you were the one that would always course the most trouble, so you shouldn't be stopping me."

"Well things change Addie and you just have to except that."

"NEVER!" Addie shouted catching Cameron off guard, "...I will never..."

Addie stormed off. Cameron watched in silence as his troubled friend stormed away.
