Chapter 45: Geien

As time labored on, I spent less and less time overseeing the two females with their training. Oftentimes, it seemed as if I was only getting in the way. I gave them all that I could in the first few days by way of technique and abilities, then they were on their own. Though, I did not fear that they would falter. They were two of the strongest females that I knew, and two of the most capable.

On top of training, I also had an army to raise, and I was coming to realize that that was no easy feat. The souls that were trapped in The Underworld did not seem to want to budge, they longed for the inky blackness of nothingness, craved it it seemed.

What few I was able to pull from the abyss typically sank right back into the pit the second I let down my guard. It was seeming more and more like a fool's errand.
