Chapter 29: Geien

I had finally convinced Amis to allow me the use of her scrying tools, though they were much different than mine and therefore took a while to master.

In her domain, there was an entire room for scrying I found out, and with good reason. Hers was a mirror, but not just a plain mirror. The entire thing was in shards that floated about the room like some deadly mobile.

I could see many things, past and present, all at once with her method. I greatly admired it and took notes to implement the same in my domain.

If I was ever able to return.

"Now that you have figured out how to use it, you may return to this room whenever you desire to watch over your priestess. Though I must request you do not attempt to leave through my scrying mirror like you have your fountain, the results would be disastrous. For you." Amis smiled and turned to leave, shutting the door behind her.
