A family?

In a house that the owner of has long abandoned. That's the place that the couple decided to stay in, whenever they wanted to be at peace without people within their proximity. A place where the two could basically have a conversation, alone and without distractions.

Usually, it would just be them reminiscing about their past. Sometimes, they'd also reveal untold stories about their younger years. Basically, the abandoned place, was nothing but their place of comfort. A place where the two could be open to each other, and where they would dive in deeper into each other's past.

Surely, it was indeed a place of comfort. That's because the two had made sure of it. They had taken their time and effort to clean the insides of the house, and had set up the place into what they can call their own home.

Obviously, they didn't decorate the outside of the house. The reason why, is because they simply didn't want to attract unwanted attention, or any sorts of attention. Luckily, the house that they had chosen for themselves, didn't belong to someone that is in poverty. In fact, it might actually belong to someone that is too rich, because the house was simply too good to be abandoned.

Good noise suppression, many rooms, and a great sense of privacy. In case the two cause an accident inside the house, the neighbors would never take notice. That's the key factor of the place, and that's exactly why the two had chosen such a place as their own home. In all honesty, they are very lucky to have found such a perfect home that suits their requirements. Who knows how long it might have taken the average ghost…

"Hey, Alissa…"

It was on a random day, when Alissa's lover finally decided to bring out the topic that he had been keeping to himself for weeks. The topic that's been bothering him. A topic so bothersome, which brought him into some form of depression…

"Is there even a future ahead of us?" He finally revealed his troubled thoughts, after Alissa had given him a gesture to speak what he has in mind.

"What are you trying to say?" Alissa responded to the question with a question, because she could sense something awry from the way he spoke his words, and the way he used his words.

"I'm… I'm tired of this life! I can't really do anything. I can't achieve my goals! Don't you think life like this is just pointless? We can't marry. We can't have kids! Do you understand how f*cked our life is now, Alli?! It's bullsh*t!"

The mood had quickly taken a turn. The silence from before was no longer there, as it was replaced by ear erupting rage. Even the surroundings were affected, and perhaps, the neighbors might have sensed something unusual going on. The rage of the depressed ghost had caused the surroundings to tremble, after all.

Sad thing, is that Alissa's lover isn't usually as loud as he is at the moment. He's usually calm and collected under many circumstances, however, this time, it is clear to see how stressed he really is about his current predicament.

"Calm down… I get it. We're in this together… In fact, I am the one who's more frustrated about our situation. Do you think I possessed all of those minds without a real reason? I'm stressed too! But I have you, and you have me. That's why, we'll make it somehow… Here's what. If things really do get bad, why don't we take over the minds that are already close to being lost? That way, we can get married and start a family…" Alissa tried to calm her lover down, and even added possible solutions to their problems.

"No. We're not going to steal any person's body for our selfish needs. That's just wrong… But you're right about one thing though. I have you, and you have me. Together, we'll make it somehow…" Alissa's lover was able to calm himself down, after hearing the words of Alissa.

"Mhm." Alissa nodded as she hummed. She then proceeded to lean in towards her lover, so she could give him a kiss on his lips. There was no better moment for such a dramatic and romantic kiss, after all.

"That did not feel natural…" Alissa's lover uttered, after the two had parted their phantom lips.

For sure, the feeling was not there, since they lacked the physical body. No warmth, no saliva, and the only way they were able to touch each other, was via their telekinetic abilities.

"Yeah… What a way to ruin our special moment. Good thing we've kissed before. Did that count though? I mean… You said you did like me secretly right? So… Although I lied, saying that I just needed practicing, I did have romantic intentions…" Alissa uttered, in reply to her lover's statement.

"Hehe. Quite a sneaky trouble maker, aren't you?"

"Hehehe…"

They both laughed it off, seemingly back on track, void from their sorrowful moments. The laughters quickly came to a stop however, when they heard the door to the inside of the house being opened…

'Who is it?' They both wondered, concerned about the fact that they might have attracted unwanted attention.
