Morvous Gaunt

Some where in Britain at the out skirts of the small village named little hangleton there was cottage. In the cottage a man in his 40s was drowning himself in alcohol /sorrow . His name was Morvous Gaunt an exiled member of Ancient and Noble house of Gaunt. Today he lost his only 6 year old son Maven Gaunt.

The reason was His son Maven was not showing any signs of magic .His friends and family members who he was still in contact with were making fun of him say that his Son was Squib. As a exiled member his only hope to get back to his family was his son. Also his son was not a parseltongue (unable to speak to snakes which he did not share with anyone) it was sin if his family members came to know about it being a member of Gaunt family and unable to speak parseltongue was an insult to the ancient family. The patriarch wouch simply kick them out of family tree. Today after coming back to his house in a drunken state. He saw his son running away from a snake in house and hiding.which made him very angry. In rage he shouted and confronted Maven unknowingly used cruciartus curse. Maven couldn't handle the curse. Seeing his son not moving or twitching on the floors n without making a sound he went near him only to find out he was dead. His entire world came crashing down. All his dreams were over he killed his only hope with own hands. What was he going to tell Mavens mother( who was Morvous's cousin/aunt).she never like Morvous or his son only out of obligation to clan patriarch she mated with him. He was a exile only grace given to him by his patriarch was he was his name was not striped from the family tree. Now if the knew his son died the family members will make sure that he was striped from family line.

After hours watching his son Maven's dead body It was nearly midnight and raining heavily with thunderous roar in the sky He woke up from his trance called his only house elf 'twik' ordered her to bury the body. He suddenly made some hissing sound a 7 foot long dark green snake hissed back at him and snake went out of house.

Looking out of his window he hoped Merlin would do some miracle. He wanted his son back alive if time went back in time he would never hurt his son ever. In the pain of loosing maven he understood how much he loved him. Then he suddenly heard a cry which startled him he heard a scream from twik

" Maste master baby is alive"

He was shocked as if he was struck by thunder. Morvous ran out side of his house where his son was shouting in the pit As he went near he found maven lost his consciousness. He checked Maven's body pulse and confirming that his son was alive Morvous laughed out loud flicked his wand levitating his son Maven's body and took him inside the cottage
