Chapter 101: Astral Projection

[Private] Roman: "Shiro, you might have to come here now..."

[Private] Shiro: "???"

[Private] Roman: "A girl... no, a Servant claims to be your acquaintance in the past."

[Private] Shiro: "Okay..? Who is it?"

[Private] Roman: "She calls herself "Altera"."

"Past acquaintance? How could it be possible..." Shiro murmured as he headed to the attached files whereas Kuroneko compiled every single thing about Fate Grand Order.

After some manual searching, he soon found one - a 'meme' with the file name 'Bad_Civ'. Simply put, a Servant that has a spinning RGB blades is threatening to destroy the 'Gacha Civilization' due to how bad it is; mainly about its low RNGs that would induce rage, depression, and some other negative mental afflictions.

Just as he was about to click the "Altera" file, he realized one huge thing.

"Wait a damn minute... That RGB sword..?"

The sword that she wielded is none other than the one in his memory!

He knew about Altera before since he skimmed the entire Singularity Arc, but he's still surprised to confirm that it belonged to her!

Shiro recalls the sensation of touching it, and he could only describe one thing: destruction. Reading the file, he realized that it made so much sense.

First of all, this Servant is connected to the Civilization Destroyer known as "Velber 02" or simply Sefar. Simply put, she's a foreign entity that only sought destruction of any civilizations, thus she aimed for Earth.

There are two versions of her descent, the Extella one and the non-Extella one; their only difference is that the Sefar first used the Moon Cell in the Moon to "3D Print" the Heroic Spirit Altera down to Earth while the latter didn't do any of that. Instead, she directly attacked Earth, only to be felled by Excalibur, the Divine Construct made and empowered by the Planet itself.

In the Non-Extella version, Sefar's corpse remained until the Huns found it. There, Altera was found and adopted by them as a killing machine known as "Attila of Huns".

With this, her power was severely weakened, all the while she lost her memories as the vanguard of the Umbral Star. By creating a mark in history, she successfully managed to enter the Throne of Heroes.

This came with a single problem, however. There's still a link between Sefar and Altera, making the latter seek destruction by using whatever power she has.

Long story short, she's dangerous.

[Private] Shiro: "Wait a minute, how did she figure out your connection with me?"

[Private] Roman: "I don't know, really. She suddenly asked for her 'Husband' while staring at me. Other than that, she completely disregarded the grail and handed it over to Ritsuka and Mash."

[Private] Shiro: "What about the Singularity?"

[Private] Roman: "It's already finished. That singularity returned to the Proper Human History. Though, we promised to summon her here at Chaldea."

[Private] Shiro: "Isn't it impossible? Your servant summoning system is still flawed at this time, yes?"

[Private] Roman: "...I might've... yeah, fixed it too soon."

[Private] Shiro: "...What? What about your plan?"

During their time at Aincrad, Shiro and Roman agreed that they'll keep everything as it is until the final Singularity. They wouldn't want stronger and more troublesome enemies to appear, thus this.

[Private] Roman: "I have no choice. She declared that she'll destroy humanity in the next Singularity if we couldn't summon her."

Knowing this, Shiro could only sigh. Perhaps, this is the start of the troubles that he'll face...

"I might have to put it forward..."

He removed his sleepy expression as he sat on the bed. While wearing his set of black pyjamas, he tapped the Chat Group panel for a few times before he arrived at the [World Travel] section.

Right now, he has more than 21,000 Points, which is simply enough for a round trip.

Tapping it, Shiro then chose Chaldea as his destination.

[1,000 Points had been deducted.]

[World Travel intiating. Destination: CHALDEA]

[Warping in 10... 9... 8... 7...]

[3... 2... 1...]

With a flash of light, he soon disappeared in Terra, only to reappear in a white dorm room the next second. Coincidentally, he's also sitting on the side of the bed.

"Hm... Hm... Alright, their influence are much weaker here..." Shiro mumbled after he felt the suppressive aura bore down on him. With his "A Foreigner's Buff", he managed to feel it more clearly than before.

Bam-!

Suddenly, the door is kicked open. The person who did it is the most troublesome one that Shiro had wanted to avoid for a long time. The Servant with his white hair and signature red overcoat from the Church glared at Shiro with a serious expression.

"To alarm Alaya so much... Who are you?" The man, Shirou EMIYA, asked.

"Oops. I take back my previous statement. Things are also troublesome here." Yawning, Shiro swiped through the Chat Group panel.

Though, this alerted EMIYA even more, thinking that he's about to use some kind of magecraft.

"Don't worry if we part this time." Shiro smiled at him before continuing, "We'll meet soon enough."

[1,000 Points had been deducted.]

[2... 1...]

[World Travel commences!]

With a flash of light, Shiro returned back to Terra, leaving the confused EMIYA behind.

"Huff... Huff..."

In the middle of the night, Shiro is gasping for air. Ever since he visited Chaldea today, he decided to begin his experiment.

In his bed is a figure identical to himself, albeit more translucent - a round golden light is in its chest. Shiro called it "Astral Projection".

This is the result of his hours of hard work. Using what he got from the Random Spins, he managed to mimic a Servant.

To be exact, he created a clone of himself. Of course, he still has to switch his consciousness here before it'll work.

It's also thanks to the [Servant's Spiritual Core (SSR)] that he got did he succeed. Originally, its main use is for a replacement—for a Servant to have another life when their core gets pierced, but Shiro modified its usage to it being the "Anchor" of his mana and mental power.

Meaning, he'll have to empty his Mana Reserves and mental power for it to work. Moreover, he also has to recharge it from time to time or else the clone would collapse, leaving the spiritual core behind. Thanks to his max level control, he can use these energies to mimic a body.

Though, it also mutated and added Ether to its composition, making it more similar to a real body. Since the Ether came from the core itself, Shiro didn't need to do anything about this and let it do its job instead.

'If this works, I'll be able to travel to more worlds..!' He thought as he switched his 'consciousness' to the clone.

Opening his eyes, Shiro found it quite strange for the first time - the power that he possessed are gone in this body. Still, he can exert power up to an Aura Knights.

"Better than nothing, I guess..."

Still, he found out that he can use a part of his abilities, such as the [Aurora Curtain] and [Eternal Arms Mastery - EX]. There's also the other powers of his from the Random Spins, which made him more stronger than those Aura Knights.

"Time for a second visit..."

An aurora wall appeared in the bedroom. Stepping on it, Shiro found himself back in Chaldea. As it disappeared, he soon found out the result of his own theory.

"It... I'm not suppressed here..!"

Fact #55: Nasuverse's gods are overwhelmingly strong. Aside from the Machine Gods in the Lostbelt, there's another event where their prowess is shown. In Extella, Amaterasu 'sensed' Hakuno's presence way back in the Age of Gods, and SUMMONED it at that exact time.Hakuno also noted how dense True Ether is in her temple, and that she can affect even the future from the past. Knowing how she has the 'same' power level as 7th Stage Sefar, we can gleam how these strong gods can treat space-time like sh*t, and why True Magics aren't compatible with their era.

PS: Take this with a grain of salt, this is Nasuverse's power scaling. Even if the numerical combat power is canon, only their feats should be treated more concretely.
