A Fool's Change of Heart

DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything besides the name of the protagonist. Persona belongs to whoever created it. Also, the No One 17 and Under Admitted is because of the excessive swearing, dark themes and not for the possible (but unlikely) lemons. Shin Yuuta, who unknowingly had caused world devastation in another timeline, had been sent to the sea of souls to cleanse the influence a malevolent entity, composed from humanity's evil thoughts, had over him. Wielding the gifts he had received from his body's previous host and a certain mask-wearing being, it is up for our protagonist to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. P.S: The pic I used for cover isn't mine either.

What?! A Stand?!

The school class had traveled all in a bus, having been told about their trip to the TV studio.

"Now, everyone. Please remember your actions here reflect Shujin. So be on your best behavior." said Kawakami, hoping that they would listen to her and the other teachers.

"They could trust us more..." grumbled Ryuji.

"One third of the school, excited to not have classes for the day, seeing all this equipment, while there's a heatwave outside. Anyone would be worried with these conditions." said Shin.

"I guess you have a point." sighed Ryuji, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.

Meanwhile, a PR woman who worked for the station was giving them a lecture on TV etiquette and advertisement.

"...Thus, the scheduling department is where we decide what time we broadcast which program. I suppose you could say, it's where the scheduling is determined."

"I don't think I'm going to last, dude. I'm dying of boredom." murmured Ryuji.

Almost as if answering Ryuji's unasked wish, a man who looked to be a famous newscaster approached the group. He went straight towards the PR woman, not minding the obstacles (students) in the way.

However, he made one mistake.

"What's going on? I can't stand-" shouted the man, trying to make a show of force by pushing past Shin.

The problem was that Shin, despite his smaller frame, did not flinch. The newscaster frowned, as he wanted to shove him out of the way, but he didn't manage to do that before Shin backhandedly slammed his fist into the man's stomach, making him double over.

"Someone help this guy! He can't stand!" shouted Shin.

His shout attracted attention to the newscaster, and two other men came and helped him up to his feet. The PR woman, on the other hand, seemed ready to call an ambulance if it looked like his state would deteriorate.

While the newscaster was led away by his two assistants, one of them, a man with brown hair and a blue hoodie seemed very peeved as he took a quick look at Ann, most likely because he lost his chance to talk to her.

Even as he was carried away, the newscaster couldn't help but give Shin an angry look. Once he felt better, he'd sue that little brat for assault.

Shin's eyes met his for a second, and the teen's cold glare made the man swallow back the bile that had risen up his throat from the hit.

The PR woman continued giving them a tour of the TV station, and eventually, the teens were free. They decided to regroup on a corridor, near some bathrooms. As Ryuji groaned and rested his head against the wall to cool down, Morgana popped out of Ren's bag.

"Hey, no flaking out, Ryuji. You're not gonna do this forever."

"Being a 'good student' and all sucks. This Phantom Thief business ain't easy." said the blond.

"Anyways, we get to go home straight from here today. We don't get to spend too much time around here usually, so we can check the shops beforehand, maybe relax a little." Ann suggested.

"Ah, that sounds great. Maybe an arcade or a game-store or something." Ryuji said with a smile.

"Ooh! I know a place!' Morgana perked up with a suggestion. "l wanna go to that huge pancake-looking place we passed on the way here. It looked delicious! What was that?"

"Oh? You mean Dome Town?" Ryuji responded. "The round part is a baseball stadium, then along the outside is an amusement park!"

"Right in the middle of a business area, but they've got some hardcore rides there." Ann agreed.

"I'd rather try the less 'scary' ones." said Shiho.

"Alright, let's go! I'll show you how courageous I am!" Morgana smiled with determination.

"Going on scary rides doesn't equal courage." Ann commented.

"And cats can't go on anyway." Ryuji added. "We might be able to sneak you in, if you were in the bag... but you'd puke if we did that."

"Really?" Morgana responded.

"Let's head to Dome Town, then." said Shin.

"My stomach's ready for roller coasters." Ann smiled.

"Uh... I think I'll pass on the puke rides."

Soon, a young man walked by. Wearing a grey-green coat, black trousers shoes, black gloves and wearing a black and white tie, he was also carrying a silver briefcase. The young man had brown hair and dark red eyes.

"Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice those uniforms. Are you from Shujin?' He asked politely.

"Huh?" Ryuji, Ann and Shiho asked, turning around.

"Yeah, whaddya want?" Ryuji asked.

"l happened to be passing by, so I thought it'd be polite to greet you. We'll be filming together after all." the young man answered. "But where are my manners? My name is Goro Akechi."

The young man gave a dazzling smile, though it didn't have any effect, as Ann and Shiho were already desensitized by Shin.

"Filming? Are you a celebrity?" asked Shiho.

"Only to the extent of appearing on TV a couple of times." he responded, before looking at his phone. "My apologies. I truly was passing by. I must be going. There's a briefing for tomorrow morning I have to attend."

The brown-haired teen rubbed his stomach. "So you're going to have cake now? I missed lunch today. So I'm quite hungry myself."

The group looked at each other in confusion.

"Huh? Cake? Shiho questioned.

"What're you talking about?" Ryuji followed

Oh, am I mistaken? I thought I heard something about delicious pancakes.' Akechi apologized as he took his leave. "No matter. See you tomorrow."

"That guy's gotta be a start-up entertainer or something." Ryuji waved it off.

'We finally meet, Prince Detective.' thought Shin.
