A Fool's Change of Heart

DISCLAIMER: I don't own anything besides the name of the protagonist. Persona belongs to whoever created it. Also, the No One 17 and Under Admitted is because of the excessive swearing, dark themes and not for the possible (but unlikely) lemons. Shin Yuuta, who unknowingly had caused world devastation in another timeline, had been sent to the sea of souls to cleanse the influence a malevolent entity, composed from humanity's evil thoughts, had over him. Wielding the gifts he had received from his body's previous host and a certain mask-wearing being, it is up for our protagonist to make sure history doesn't repeat itself. P.S: The pic I used for cover isn't mine either.

One little demon

Back to the day when Shin met Sho.

Sojiro was annoyed. No, scratch that. He was beyond simply being annoyed. He was livid.

When he went for shopping, several hours ago, he planned to get just enough to last him till the weekend, when he could go shopping properly. Instead, he had to go around left and right, trying to buy whatever the grocery stores had remaining.

From what he heard from others miffed customers, there was some red-haired brat going around and buying in bulk groceries. A few advised him to go search for some shop outside of Yongen-Jaya, but he simply laughed it off and said he'd find something around here.

Now, though... after leaving the n-th store he visited just today, he felt the need to brew some coffee to relax.

As if the effort wasted wasn't enough to annoy him beyond measure, it seemed as if whoever was emptying the store like that was somehow deliberately mocking him, as all of the cashiers so far had assured him that if he had been just a few moments faster, he might've gotten something.

Suddenly, he saw something that made him rub his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. In the middle of the road, there was a short girl with red hair, lugging a bag taller than her. Despite the impossible sight, Sojiro's eyes were transfixed on what was in the bag. Namely, groceries.

It looked like he found the brat who was emptying the stores.

Sorry for the fact that this chap is both too late and too short. I wrote almost 400 words in a few minutes, so I was feeling pretty good with myself. Then I accidentally pressed a button on my mouse and the page reloaded.

Then I spent 10 minutes wondering if life has any meaning before saying 'Fuck it' and just getting around 250 words in the next few minutes.

Been really busy today, for fuck's sake. Pisses me off.
