Kim Soohyun

When the morning light creeps in through the crack between the curtains and windowpane to illuminate the dark-lit room as a figure slowly gets off the large King sized bed. He grabbed his scattered clothes on the rooms' carpeted floor, careful not to wake the sleeping woman on the bed. Another woman falls victim once again to his sweet words and charms. A usual night spent at his favorite club resulted in another sinful episode of his young 24-year-old life. Not caring who her name was or where she came from, all he cared about was the pleasure and fun. 'What happens in the night, stays in the night,' a motto he boastfully declares with his closest friends after a night out with a different girl. Carefree was the very definition to describe the kind of life he lives as a multi-millionaire CEO of a company he inherited from his father. Despite his attitude, no one could deny that when it comes to his father's company, no one is the better CEO when compared to him. His name is Kim Soohyun.

Watching the sleeping woman on the bed brought a smile on Soohyun's face as he puts on his beige jeans and his light blue v-neck shirt. The sinful event flashed in his mind as he shakes his head, remembering how last night was a little too wild than his usual night. And as usual, he forgot her name. Since he has no reason to stay, he quietly exits the hotel room. Outside the hotel room, the smell of a newly vacuumed and scented hallway of one of Korea's most luxurious hotels. He stopped in his tracks after realizing he had left his five thousand dollar watch back in the room.

"Shit," cursing under his breath as he turns around to open the hotel door, but to no avail, "Right, no key card." Face palming himself as he forgot the key card as well inside the room. Thankfully, however, he did not forget his phone after reaching down to grip his pants' pocket.

"9.00 am?!" Grabbing his hair as he exclaimed rather loudly before abruptly covering his mouth again, "Oh crap." He dashes through the hallway as he dialed his best friend's phone number. His best friend seemed like the only person Soohyun would turn to when he would find himself in a bind.

"Gray," Soohyun uttered in between breaths as he stops to wait in front of the elevator.

"You have 1 hour, man," Gray, the voice that replied on the other side of the phone, "Yoochun has been waiting by the lobby for the last 30minutes with your car, and Younha already prepared your suit for the day."

"Thanks, bro," Soohyun lets out a breath of relief as he enters the elevator, "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Honestly, you would have destroyed your own company," Gray frankly states, "I'm starting to think I'm your babysitter instead of your best friend and partner in the company."

"Well, you're the multi-tasking one," Soohyun walked out the elevator to the lobby, "See you in a bit."

"Aight, man, take care," Gray hangs up his phone and puts it on his table before heading out his office to announce the oncoming CEO. Clapping his hand loudly for everyone's attention, "Mr. Kim will arrive shortly, everyone, please put your game faces on."

Like rehearsed for an assembly, the staff replied in unison at Gray's words, "Yes, sir."

"Alright, let's get to work," Gray nods in acknowledgment as the staff start to busy themselves for the meeting that will commence in 50 minutes.

"Whoo, what a rush?" Soohyun finally leaned back on his chair in his million-dollar car, "How you been, my man?"

"Been excellent sir," Yoochun, Soohyun's most trusted driver when it comes to last-minute rushes, "And you sir?", which is almost every day of the week when Soohyun would be late for meetings or just late for his working hours.

"I've been a perfect man," stretching backward into his leathery comfort of a seat, "Last night was awesome and wild. haha.."

The only response that Yoochun gave was just a small nervous chuckle. The young driver knows what his employer meant, and being someone who is already married made him uncomfortable when Soohyun would bring up about his nightly activities. Ever since becoming Soohyun's most trusted driver aside from the wealthy family's four more experienced drivers. Though the payment was outstanding and satisfying, Yoochun still felt uneasy when he was driving the young CEO late at night or picking him up early in the morning at someone else's place. Who was he to complain? He has no authority for such a luxury.

"Yoochun-ah," Soohyun tapped the young driver's back, "Let's stop by Starbucks."

"But sir, your meeting?" Yoochun expressed his concern as he turns his head slightly to look at Soohyun.

"Aiishh, it will be easy as usual," Soohyun chuckled as he leans forward between the front seats, "Besides, you know my motto, right? Whatever happens in the morning?"

"Coffee comes first," the young driver, who's all too familiar with his boss' antiques, immediately continues.

"Atta boy," squeezing the young driver's shoulder, Soohyun grinned, "Starbucks, here we come."

Though reluctant, he can't afford to get fired due to insubordination towards his boss's wishes. He taps in the location, in the GPS, for the closest Starbucks in the area and immediately finds one that's only a few hundred meters from their position. "We got one about a few hundred meters away, boss."

"Alright! Joah! Let's go," Soohyun clapped in excitement due to getting another caffeinated drink as usual to begin his day.

Soohyun's phone buzzed in his pocket, which brought a raised eyebrow. Fishing out his phone from his pocket, only to find out it was Gray texting him. To remind him about how important this meeting was. The merging of companies between two of Korea's most powerful families. These companies have also garnered attention worldwide as being the most efficient in the last five years. The news has taken the world by storm, and CNN had dubbed such merging to be world-changing. With the two companies combined, the world's economy will shift into three powerhouses. USA, China, and South Korea will become three of the world's most powerful countries when it comes to the economy. Gray knew that losing this deal will make things worse for his dear friend because the company they will merge with is the company the world wanted to partner up. Their soon-to-be partner, K Inc, took the number one spot as the most successful company of the year in 2019. And with how the company progresses, the same achievement is not far away for the year 2020. Kim Corp fell short and came in second on the world's most successful company of the year 2019. It has been a repetitive occurrence as they keep losing to K Inc. Their merge will boost the popularity of both companies, especially Kim Corp's.

"We're here, sir," Yoochun pulled up in front of a cafe and parked.

"Ok, I'll be out in a minute," Soohyun exited the car. The distance between the vehicle and Starbucks' entrance was only a few feet. Still, the prying eyes of female pedestrians stay locked on the elegant and charismatic man that just exited his car and walked into the world-renowned cafe. Upon entering the premise, all eyes yet again went to look at him. All eyes of both males and females are on him—eyes that stare in awe of his remarkable features, and they're also eyes that stare in jealousy.

The place wasn't as packed as it would be in the mornings, so there's no one to wait on, Soohyun's favorite. Walking to the counter, a female waitress greets him to take his order, "Good morning, sir," her once gentle greeting smile turns sheepish as she made eye contact with the man in front of her. In knowing he got her attention, as he usually presumes when it comes to women, he gave her one of his irresistible traits—a gentle smile.

"Hi, Good Morning, Hwayoung-ssi," immediately uttering her name as he spots her name tag and keeping the smile for a short moment towards the lady before laying out his order, "I'll take one Caffe Americano, please."

The waitress was slightly lost in his eyes for a brief moment before going back onto reality as he mentions his order, "A..anything else, sir?"

"Nope, that's all, but please call me Soohyun," He smiles once again and leans closer towards the waitress, "That way, you won't be a stranger to me."

"Right, sir... I mean, Soohyun," the waitress almost clumsily tapped onto the computer screen for his order, "T...That would be 5000 won, please."

Fishing out his wallet, he took out 10,000 won instead and gave it to the waitress. As the waitress receives it, Soohyun makes sure his hand brushes against hers in the slightest, "Keep the change; it's for you." Winking at the waitress as she takes the money, Soohyun made his way to wait on the other side of the counter to wait. He leans on the counter, facing the staring eyes of the people in the cafe. As soon as he meets them, all their eyes turn away in a second. Soohyun smirked; the way his very presence dominates a room whenever he enters had become his favorite. Just a smile and a few words, none ever uttered the word NO as if under a spell by his charm.

Amid his moment, his phone buzzed continuously. He pulls out his phone, and a smile stretched across his lips when the caller ID says, 'Hyosung.' Swiping the green option up, he answers the call, "How's my naughty, Bunny?" A name he'd come up with whenever he would spend time with her to release his pent-up tensions.

"Oppaa," she whines in an almost childlike manner, "You didn't return my calls yesterday."

"I'm sorry, sweetie, Oppa was busy," he smirks to himself as the word busy, about last night, came out from his lips, "So I can't answer your call."

"Hmm... You have to pay up on that," Hyosung's tone changed into a seductive and somewhat naughty tone, "As many as I need, can you do that, Oppa?"

As if the smirk on his lips couldn't get any more extensive, it did, "Oh, you know I can always deliver, baby," his tone changed into a soft and husky tone as he whispers, "As many as you need."

"Hmmm.. you better Oppa," her breath through the phone starts to sound heavy with need as she utters her next reply, "Your bunny... has been needy last night... thinking about what Oppa will do."

Her breathless words send an ecstatic crescendo over his body. One of the things he likes about Hyosung is her ability to change his mood whenever and wherever he is if they talk on the phone, "You are one naughty bunny..."

"Order for Soohyun-ssi," the same waitress that had served him at the counter is now delivering to him his drink.

"That's me," raising his hand as if he would in a classroom, "Soohyun."

Upon receiving the drink from the waitress, he also received a piece of paper. He smiles in triumph as yet another target falls for his mischievous charm. "Thank you," he puts the drink in one hand and the phone, with the still ongoing call, in his pocket to take the waitress's hand and to give it a gentle kiss along with a wink before letting go.

"Oppa? Oppa? Hello?" Hyosung, who's still present, unexpectedly keeps calling out his name.

"I'm sorry baby, I was getting coffee," Soohyun puts his cup of coffee back onto his right hand with his back to the door.

"Now where...." the words cut short as he turned around and collided with a woman who was also on her way to the door causing his hot americano to spill.

"Aaah, crap," Soohyun complained as the hot coffee poured onto his shirt, "What the hell lady?" He bumped into the woman wearing a blue snapback cap, a simple light blue shirt with white leggings, and white Nike shoes. Her hair loose and red. However, her cup of coffee was just fine.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to," the woman apologized as she looked up to Soohyun, who was fanning his shirt and quite upset.

"You better be," Soohyun bites back as he stares at his shirt, "Do you know how much this costs?

"Excuse me?" the woman did not expect such spiteful remark from the man she apologized to, "I already said I was sorry."

"This shirt costs way more than those cheap knockoffs you're wearing," Soohyun gestured the woman's outfit from her cap to her shoes.

"What did you say?!" her tone starts to rise as his spiteful remarks continue. However, the next thing he does surprised her, even more, when he grabbed the coffee that was in her hand and took a sip of it as if she wasn't even there.

"Hmm, at least you know your coffee," Soohyun looked at her right in the face and scoffed, "You're lucky I'm in a good mood today, miss or you'll be sorry for sure."

"You asshole..." her word was cut short as he walks right past her, once again, as if she wasn't there. The woman has had enough as she grabs his free hand to make him look at her.

Soohyun was surprised as she grabbed his hand with a firm grip to make him look at him. "Now you see here, you as...." for the nth time, her words were interrupted when Soohyun swung his hand and taking her with him. Still, she kept her grip on his arm, but Soohyun intends to finish it. Eyeing the spilled coffee on the floor, Soohyun swung his arm again, and in doing so, he made the lady slipped on the pooling coffee on the floor.

"No, you listen here, miss," Soohyun looked down on her after she landed on the floor with a thud, "Nobody lays a hand on me and gets away with it."
