Opposites Attract, Huh?
Erevan noticed this strange sensation continuing to happen over the next several weeks as he and Molly adjusted to their new normal. He no longer had to hide his magic and she seemed genuinely thrilled every time she saw him use it. That was nice but there weren't only positive side effects of what happened. Her nightmares, which had been relatively infrequent for months, got worse again.
He hated knowing that was his fault. She loved him but she was haunted by seeing him kill Jozrallan.
How was he supposed to fix this? All he and the cats could do was go back to the old standby and be there to comfort her when she inevitably woke up and needed to fall asleep again.
"I'm so sorry, Molly," Erevan said miserably as he held her after yet another nightmare.
