Chapter 110

On a sunny day and having a break from his scenes in the movie. Leonardo ran away from the big city and ran to Smallville for a quiet day in a semi-quiet town. A day to himself since most of the girls were busy with their own thing and Kara avoiding him. Raya managed to convince Jor-El to restore her powers and memories. However, Kara didn't remember what happened when she had amnesia so learning she became his mistress, well she was very embarrassed.

Hence, Leonardo found himself in Smallville wanting to spend a day to himself and away from the bustling cities and nowhere near a filming set. Hence he wanted to hang out in Smallville and visit a few friends from High School. Since unlike Clark who mostly kept to himself, Leonardo tried to keep in touch with a few he made during his time there.

Whistling a tune to himself, Leonardo paused as he looked at the small general store. There in the window, Leonardo saw candy and his desire to have some grew. For it had been a while since he had something sweet since his lunch with Lucifer was caught and his trainer took greater care to monitor his diet.

Apparently, his cheat day didn't include a trip to a fast food place and donuts afterwards. Which made him cry and once he finished filming his parts for the movie. He will cross off being an actor as a job to do.

His sweet tooth demanded sweets and the trainer he got apparently was a pro since they could sniff if he cheated or not on his diet. So upon seeing a sale on candy, he was going to satisfy his sweet tooth. Even if he probably gets caught.

Upon reaching for a bag of candy, Leonardo noticed a small hand also reaching for the same bag. Turning his head, he looked down to see a boy around four with dark black hair and inhumane blue eyes. Eyes that were a carbon copy of his own and upon removing the body fat from his young round face. It was eerily similar to his own, too similar.

"Sheldon, are you after sweets again?" a woman laughed as she appeared behind the boy.

"Elizabeth?"

"Leo!"

Leonardo's mouth twitched a bit as he looked at the woman before him. Her long dark hair, young and beautiful face with nine earrings pierced on her left ear. While she didn't hold up compared to a kryptonian woman beauty, nor a model, she was still quite the looker. Not to mention compared to the last time he saw her, the womanly curves filled out much more.

"I tend to go by Liz." She smiled awkwardly.

A bad feeling rose in his heart and truth be told, he could already guess the reason. When mixed with his ability to read others, the way she kept glancing at the boy and him. Well, Leonardo felt like his sweets betrayed him since his happy day was either going to be much sweeter or sour.

"So, shall we have a small chat?" Leonardo said as he tilted his head to the small boy.

"Surprise." Liz said weakly.

"Surprise indeed. Shall we find somewhere not so public to chat?" Leonardo asked.

"Shall we meet at the Kent Farm in an hour?" Liz suggested. "Almost where the story began."

Leonardo rolled his eyes at this since he could already guess the answer. It was that day about four years ago when Lana used magic at Chloe's birthday party. The night he went wild with twenty or more girls. Among them he remembers Elizabeth among them, just back then she was more of the shy one and inexperienced one.

"Very well, but I got to know. Has he displayed anything…unique? Such as seeming stronger, faster or more durable?" Leonardo asked.

"Not that I know of, but he is very smart. He just seems to be like a sponge." Liz said proudly.

'So there is a high chance of him inheriting my kryptonian powers and may have already begun to display super intelligence. If not at least the kryptonian brain power.' Leonardo thought to himself.

"So why are you in Smallville? Surely it's not for a bag of candy." Liz asked.

"Maybe." Leonardo looked away.

Leonardo looked down at Sheldon who also began to look away awkwardly also. It was a very similar reaction for Liz's mother glare was pretty strong and something she clearly mastered to a high degree.

"As long as you don't tell anyone, I can tell you." Leonardo jokingly caved.

"You shouldn't have said that." Sheldon quietly said.

"Is that bad?" Leonardo whispered back.

"Yeah." Sheldon looked at him strangely. "How did you hear me?"

'Oh, so he might have inherited my super hearing.' Leonardo noted to himself.

"So you're not supposed to have candy." Liz said as she smiled, but Leonardo could tell it was not a smile.

Leonardo watched as the bag of candy that was within reach suddenly far away. Upon reaching for them, he felt a soul chilling cold from behind. However, he has thick skin and believes his kryptonian abilities can save him.

"I shall have my sweets." Leonardo hugged his candy bag and ran for the counter. "See you in an hour."

Upon running away after paying, Leonardo popped a candy into his mouth as he flew north to the Fortress. He needed to chat with Jor-El and needed to think about what to do. It hurt to find out that the boy is a child who he knew nothing about nor how he missed his first steps or words. He was unsure if the boy even wanted him around or even Liz since he was unsure if she was seeing someone or interested in someone.

Speeding into the Fortress of Solitude, Leonardo appeared near the console. He popped another candy into his mouth.

"Is something worrying you, my Son?" Jor-El's voice echoed through the room.

"Not so much worry, but more nervous. I just found out that I have a son who is four years old and he displays the potential of super intelligence and super hearing. I accidentally bumped into him and his mother and will be meeting them soon. So I need your help." Leonardo replied.

"Send it off the planet." Jor-El replied.

"I didn't realize your sense of humor improved." Leonardo angrily laughed. "I need to know, is there a way to check if he will fully inherit my abilities or fully possess them."

"Bring them to the fortress and I will scan them." Jor-El simply stated.

"I was sort of hoping to avoid that. I would rather not display such things if he won't fully develop his abilities." Leonardo answered. "If he just inherited the basic abilities of a kryptonian physique that doesn't store solar energy. I rather not get his hopes up for something that might never come to pass."

"Then it's up to you." Jor-El replied. "Only by bringing him here shall we know the answer."

Returning to the Kent Farm, Leonardo began to pace as he quickly cleared up the place a bit. He was slightly worried about how this chat will go and if Liz plans to keep the boy away from him. Which would be terrible since if the boy does inherit his abilities, he rather be there to train him in how to control them.

Then he saw a car drive up the driveway and saw Liz getting out with Sheldon.

"Alright, let's do this." Leonardo pumped himself up.

"Yeah." Raya nodded.

"Indeed." Aurora hummed.

"Gah! When did you get here?"

"When you began to fly up to the Fortress and back." Kara appeared.
