Time Passes

"A good name, but you need to give it with purpose. I sense you've done this before, probably more than once! Give it the name!" The Duke exclaimed.

Devotion turned and looked at the name. "What do you mean that you sense I've done this before?"

"Come on. Nobody names their own child Devotion. That's a name you chose, just like your companion chose the name Loyalty for themselves before their untimely demise. Think of that conviction that your companion undoubtedly had when they said that. Mirror that power when you give something a name. That will let it unleash its full potential!" The Duke explained to Devotion.

Devotion nodded. It seemed that the Duke knew more than he let on, he just kept that fact hidden, most likely on purpose.
