The Letter [2]

The next morning after breakfast, Lisa sent the two boys away with a list and some money.

"Son, take your friend to the market, I'm sure he hasn't been here before so show him around while buying the things I wrote on the paper, there are some things I need to take care of."

"Okay, mom." Ray didn't think much of anything and collected the paper and money, he called Blades over and told him what his mom said and he was happy with the idea.

They had their bath and left the house, Lisa seeing that they are gone sighed, "I won't let anything happen to you again." With that, she walked back into the house to continue what she was doing.

An hour after the boys left, Lisa came outside and before she could turn around to get what she needed, she heard some footsteps approaching her. She looked up and when she saw the owners of the footsteps, a sudden wave of fear crowded her.
