Ardiel was contemplating if he will absorb the heart in the middle of the desert or he will absorb it when he reached the city when he noticed a tiny city of some sort in front of him overlooked by tiny brick walls. The tiny city was like guarding the tiny forest in the distance! Ardiel then realized that he discovered something ! Ardiel finally decided to absorb the heart inside the forest to avoid the planet's inhabitants and his fellow human beings' sights. Ardiel then rushed towards the walls on the distance like Usain Bolt trying to win an Olympic Gold medal.

On the town guard's perspective...

A trail of smoke was rushing towards them, scaring them out of their wits as they thought that it was a monster. A guard equipped with leather armor and carrying a bow and arrow then shouted, "Man the walls! A monster is coming towards the town. Move faster people!"

Rows of soldiers wearing leather armor climbed the walls and loaded their bows with arrows as they aimed it towards the 'monster' that was creating the trail of smoke.

A well-equipped soldier then said," Load! ", as the soldiers on top of the wall simultaneously loaded their bows with arrows.

"Aim!" The soldiers on top of the wall then aimed at the 'monster' who are causing the trail of smoke.

The well-equipped soldier was almost gonna say fire when the 'monster' inside the smoke shouted, "I'm a person! Don't shoot me! I'm a person!"

"Hold your fire!" The well-equipped soldier said while he raised his left hand. All the soldiers then simultaneously put down their bows while the arrows are still being pulled, in case of an unexpected situation, they can react quickly and fire.

"Captain! That monster must be using our language to trick us! Let's just kill it! It's impossible to see a person who crossed the Ambrysie Desert alive!" A soldier said while he aimed his bow towards the 'monster' and fired his arrow, making the captain of the soldiers surprised.

" What are you doing! I said I am a person right? Didn't you hear it? " A person shouted while walking towards the gate walls with an arrow in his grasp. He then threw it back to the soldier who fired it, shocking all the soldiers who saw the situation happened right in front of them.

By the way, if you are wondering why Benedict and Edmund didn't asked Ardiel what's his race is, it's because they are too busy to fight so they don't care if your an orc, an elf or a demon, they needed help and it arrived and that's all that matters. It's a pity they died.

The soldiers' race was demon and Ardiel already has his horns on top of his head so the demon soldiers didn't ask him of his identity and let him inside the town. The captain of the soldiers thought that he was just a hunter that returned because he couldn't cross the desert.

Demons almost have the same identities because they all have horns and it was rare to see a four-horned demon like Ardiel. You can also seldom seen an ugly demon so Ardiel's handsome face was not suspicious.

The captain apologized for his subordinate's mistake and said, "Sorry again for the trouble good sir. They call me Captain Iriel. May i know your name? You have good reaction speed and you look like a warrior. I'm thinking to let you join our town's army and you can have a chance to go the capital city of the demons."

"My name is Ardiel and I would gladly join the town's army, Captain Iriel!" Ardiel said as he did the attention move required by the past armies in their home planet.

"Good good, you also now how to do the attention so your probably a resident of this town. This town is called Furieles and the town is the boundary separating the Ambrysie Desert and the Jelsinco Forest. The town army's purpose is to prevent the beasts from the Ambrysie desert from invading the boundary of the town of Furieles. The beasts living in the Ambrysie Desert is more powerful and savage compared to the beasts living inside the Jelsinco Forest. There is an expedition to eradicate and capture some monsters in the forest tomorrow. You can join them if you want. And also, if what you are carrying inside that bag is materials, you can go to Eliana, our town's most experienced hunter. She has a store near the blacksmith. You can go there to sell it. If you have amy more questions, just ask some citizens walking around the town and they can answer your questions. That's all I'm saying and I'll just be inside the town's barracks if you want to find me. Stay safe trainee Ardiel," Captain Iriel explained as he went to the barracks.

The soldiers on top of the walls was curious what kind of monster did Ardiel hunted but they didn't ask. They just went to their stations and minded their own businesses. The soldier that shot the arrow didn't want to apologize to Ardiel as he was the son of the Mayor of this town. He just walked towards the Town Hall stomping angrily.

Ardiel didn't care about trivial things as he ignored the stares given to him by soldiers patrolling and citizens walking around.

Ardiel observed the town that he was in and the town is not so bad he thought. The town's architecture style was that of ancient medieval times of their home planet and the house were built by bricks with roofs of hay.

Ardiel kept on walking while observing and he arrived at a building with a name hanging in front of it. Ardiel didn't know how can he read the demon language but he thought that he got his demon language skills when he chose the demon race.

The sign in the building says, 'Eliana's Hunting Store'. As soon as Ardiel saw the name of the building , he went opened the door and went inside it only to meet two huge mountains in his face.

Ardiel was now lying in the ground with a woman on top of him, catching the attention of the citizens walking on the street.

"Just train your cooking skills Variela, your father will not agree with your plan to be a hunter. Go back home first and tell him your dream. If he agrees, I promise to teach you how to be a hunter like me," a tanned fit female demon with two horns wearing a shirt, pants and boots said to Variela, the woman who was on top of Ardiel.

" Look what you have done Eliana! A guy fainted because of you pushing me out of the door! How are you gonna take responsibility of this!" Variela said as he pointed at Ardiel who was just laying on the ground.

"Oh, sorry about that fellow demon! Variela's racks are really suffocating and heavy right?" Eliana said to Ardiel as he approached him and helped him stand up.

"It's okay, I don't mind if I die suffocating with those huge racks," Ardiel said to Eliana as he smiled at Variela, making Variela blush.

Variela was a beautiful and voluptuous female demon with fair skin and two horns at her head. She was wearing a shirt that can't contain her huge racks, pants that looked liked leggings because of her thickness, and a pair of leather boots.

"I have come to your store to sell some materials, can i come in now?" Ardiel changed the topic like a pro and said to Eliana while showing her his bulging makeshift bag.

"Of course, come in. I'm Eliana by the way, what's your name new guy? I know everyone here and I just saw you today."

"My name is Ardiel and I came from the desert you guys named the Ambrysie," Ardiel said as he put down his makeshift bag on top of the counter.

"Pretty good fighting skills for a young demon like you. These materials also came from a camulf, an F-rank monster. Did you hunt these yourself? If you lie to me, you will regret it," Eliana said while staring daggers at Ardiel.

It's no wonder Eliana is suspicious because camulfs are F-rank beasts! You need 3 or more people to kill one. And Ardiel killed three of them! What an outstanding feat if it is really the truth.

" Of course, you don't believe me? Why don't you test me, Eliana the best hunter of Furieles," Ardiel mockingly said.

"If that's what you want, I will give it to you. If i lose, I'll be buying it for 25% higher than the normal price. If you lose, you should be selling it to me for 25% lower than the original price. Deal? Eliana said as she took her hand out for a handshake.

"Deal," Ardiel said as he shook her hands.
