Chapter 19

Kate's POV

As soon as they had cleared the old building Kate and Castle went back to the precinct to try figure out the message Johanna had written.

"The ap probably means apartment, right?" Castle more stated than asked.

"Yes, I think so, apartment 347... east... that must mean they took her there, but I don't know how we're supposed to find her by only that" Kate said frustrating.

She really needed to find her daughter now. She was starting to have a panicattack again. She felt Castle's hand rubbing her back, trying to calm her down.

"Don't worry, we will find her. We will. Let's search for buildings in the east which has that many rooms. It might not be as many as you think" he said and she let out a calming sigh.

She opened up her computer and started up the searching program. She clicked in the empty search boxes and choose the eastern New York.

"I take back what I said" Castle said when she felt him looking over her shoulder.

She looked at the search result and her heart skipped a beat. She felt her breathing speeding up and she put her head in her hands.

"What if they're not even there?" she complained with a lump in her throat.

"She will" Castle said comforting but she could hear him whisper "she has to" and she closed her eyes and tried to focus.

"Yo, Beckett, were are you with the apartment?" Esposito asked as he walked into the precinct.

She just shook her head, to afraid to speak the words that would break her down.

"We might have found something" Ryan said and when she looked up he was right behind Esposito.

"Well?" Kate asked a little harsher than it needed to be.

She could see Ryan get a little hurt by her tone but she could see that he understood her. If this would have been Sarah Grace, he would have been as worried as she was.

"We found some DNA in the old building, looks like Johanna put up with a struggle when they tried to take her. She scratched one of the perps and we got a match" Ryan said and gave her a file.

Kate immediately looked at the picture of a bold man.

"Ronny Weston, does he have any connections to Jacob Collins? Or the drugs?" Kate asked and looked up at Ryan.

"His phone records shows he's been in contact constantly with a Charles Stinson who has a phone record of calling Collins" Ryan said.

"Can you track them?" Castle said with big hope in his voice and Kate nodded to say she wanted to know as much as he did.

"No, we didn't find them, we're trying to track their cell phones but so far no luck" Ryan said with a sad voice.

"Where do they live?" Kate asked and looked down in the papers.

She saw the address and knew where it was.

"Let's go!" she said and jumped up from the chair.

"We need to bring back-up" Esposito said and Kate looked at him.

"You call back-up, me and Castle will go there" she said and Castle nodded.

They went for the elevator and ride down to their car.
