Chapter 27

"G-Get him!!"

"No! Mercy!! Plea-"

*SQUELCH*

*Shiiing* *Clang* Squelch*

The men on the walls screamed for their lives. The halberd showed no mercy and ripped and tore through them. They rushed in groups and fell prey to the weapon just as quick. Soon, the wall was dripping with their blood.

Down in the city, there was panic amongst the smallfolk and more guards stormed the stairs of the walls. Their bodies were split, their heads were pierced and their chests were shattered by the bloody halberd.

I jumped down the wall and more guards offered their lives to me.

I didn't look at their faces, I didn't hear their cries... All I saw was the three headed dragon and I smashed through it.

The walls and the street to the gates of the city were littered by bodies. Broken and shattered skulls marred the street as blood seeped through the stone and into the sewers.

My breathing was steady and I felt no fatigue after the brief slaughter of Targaryen men. I ran towards the Red Keep and met guards with a lion on their plate.

Lion.

Lannister.

Scum.

Kill.

More men died and more chaos ensued.

Far away, a bell was rung and scores of armored men spilled into the streets of King's Landing. Men wearing red, white and gold rushed to their deaths as my halberd took their lives with an unquenchable lust for blood.

No sword and no armor was enough to save the men underneath as I mowed through droves of men.

A mist of blood mixed with the air and painted the houses and the stalls red. The sickening stench of metal, piss and shit overwhelmed the resident stink of the city.

Bodies littered the streets and voices of the men were extinguished.

Then came the arrows falling from the sky like a rain of death. I used the dead as my shield and climbed to the roofs of the houses. The archers and crossbow men tried to use their numbers, but, I was too fast for them. Before they could knock their arrows, their heads flew off their bodies.

More men came with spears and pikes only for their weapons to be smashed away. I was getting closer to the Red Keep as I continued to endless slaughter.

My vision was beginning to become red. I realised that blood was entering my eyes. Every single part of my body was dripping with blood and sweat and grime.

Then arrived the cavalry with their lances and their swords.

I didn't waver.

I didn't care.

All I saw was the three headed dragon and I rampaged through.

No horse or man was spared. I took their lances and threw them back at the riders. I picked the spears and pikes and impaled the men like skewers through meat.

(ACJTF)

"L-Let's just r-run away!"

"What?! You're will to become a deserter?! Are out of your darn mind?!"

"Fuck being in the army! I-I have a son! A wife! I-I need to live!"

"He's just one man!!"

"The fuck he's a man! Look at the men who faced him! He didn't just kill them, he butchered them!! We are pigs being sent for slaughter!! Run!"

"It's the mad king's fault! He killed the Starks!! They used magic to send a demon and take our souls!!! Run!! Run from the demon!!!"

"Monster!!"

"Run!!"

Less and less lambs...

They were running away from me...

I looked at the Red Keep and ran faster towards it. No more lions or three headed dragons rushed towards me... The streets were deserted and the rare scream of pain of the injured men echoed throughout the city. The screams gave nightmares to the smallfolk for years to come.

I took out a bottle of water from my inventory and cleaned the blood and sweat from my eyes. The stining pain was being relieved as the cold water soothed my eyes. But, it couldn't quiten the thunderstorm of rage in my heart.

I reached the Red Keep and the knights attacked me to save their king. Again, all I saw was dragon heads and lions. They were slightly better than the lambs I had slaughtered in the streets. They were the elites who were chosen to protect the king and his family.

Alas, their swords and their armor stood no chance against me.

I reached the door of the throne room. It was being guarded by dozens of knights and was sealed shut from the inside.

The knights fought hard, literally fighting for their lives. With a swift move of my wrist, my halberd cut three of them in half. The others were shocked for a moment and then they resumed the fight.

I crushed the heads of six and split open another five.

The last four knights circled me and tried to attack from all sides. I charged one and impaled him on my halberd's spike. The other three ran after me amd I grabbed the fallen knight's sword to parry the first slash.

Using the hammer of the halberd, I emashed their swords and cut their heads off. The last knight tried to run away, but, I threw the sword at him and it impaled him through the back.

I looked that the door and with a yell, I kicked and kicked and kicked until the door was blasted off its hinges.

There I saw a disheveled man with unkempt white hair, long and dirty nails and a crown placed crookedly over his head. I saw old men in robes with green vials advancing towards me.

"Burn him!!! Burn him, now!!!" The king screeched.

Another man with a lion on his plate stood aside and watched as one vial was thrown towards me. Despite of my rage addled mind, I knew what the vial held. So, I caught the vial while spinning on my heel and threw it back at the mad king.

No one saw the counter coming and the vial broke against the king's plate armor. The green wildfire spilt all over him and ignited the mad man with a brilliant flame of green.

His screams echoed off the walls of the Red Keep as the fire burnt his plate, his clothes, his flesh and his malice off the world.

Long after that day... The bards sang the song of a man's wrath. The song of the sword of the Stranger.

The storms of wrath

The eyes of despair

The power of a man

hidden just as fair.

The realm of death

all into flame.

No place to hide,

the end of the reign.

The crimson red garden

The black eyes of hell

The blood of the dragons,

sprayed by the gale.

The wrath of a man,

With a past untold

Dread, for here he comes,

the Stranger's sword.

This is early in the war. Lyanna was at the tower at the end of it, yes, but, she wasn't there for the entire time.
