"I am glad you are enjoying yourself." He heard Jules say as she talked to her friend.
He saw them congregate at the bar after their dance number. He would have joined them on the dancefloor, but sadly, he did not have a date.
He thought he could convince her to accompany him to this event, but it appeared she had other plans. But he still wondered what went wrong that other morning.
"And Roger is a good guy." Damon expressed as if showing his approval.
If he was not mistaken, he believed his friends were acting matchmakers. And somewhat, that did not feel right.
"No, he is not." He could not stop himself as he joined them. "Roger is even worse than me." But even he knew that was a lie.
He also knew the other guy. He and Damon had been childhood friends with him. Although they grew up competing against each other, they remained friends until now.
