A Brocon's Digital Records

I mean, what are you supposed to do when you got reincarnated in a parallel universe where the supernatural is prominent? Of course the first thing she does is amass power! That's what everyone would do right? So since she already got that part done, might as well go back to school like what her Onii-chan wants her to.

Dreams were strange.

But to be fair, when the piece of meat that was running with electric signals known as the brain tries to process whatever in the ever living fuck had happened in the last twenty four hours or so, it was simply a disaster waiting to happen.

Dreams were strange because they range from surreal bur realistic dreams like reliving a memory from your past and confessing to a crush and they actually accepts (which to her experience is something that only happens in manga and animes), to riding a giant mechanical t-rex equipped with laser guns and funnels to battle space potato aliens from universe M-76.

Dreams be like that sometimes.

But sometimes, when your physical body is resting and the human processor is trying to compute your experience and either completely forget them or store them as an embarrassing moment that you'll remember every time before you go to bed, the brain doesn't generate dreams.

Dreamless sleep, an experience that simply feels like closing your eyes and seeing an empty blank space for a few seconds and then waking up, was no doubt something that almost everyone had at the very least experienced once in their life.

It was a novel experience, she thinks. Some conclude that such a thing happens when one's own body is too tired from the activities that it has undergone to the point that randomly generating dreams are seen as a waste. But if there was something that she doesn't like about sleeping, it would be a restless sleep, a state where your body has rested, but for some reason you still feel sluggish even after the eight goddamned hours you've been asleep for.

Truly, waking up well rested is a myth.

But really, she would rather have those kinds of sleep rather than seeing and reliving the dream that she had already seen and been through countless times already.

Tokyo was a nice place.

There was no doubt about that, after all it was one of those places where you have to go at the very least once if you were going to Japan. The place held many landmarks, the Tokyo Skytree for instance was one of them, a place that one must visit when one is touring Tokyo, the same can be said for the widely known Tokyo Tower.

But it was also clear that Tokyo was a very, very, and by that she meant VERY busy place. Said statement was indicated by the constant stream of people going from one place to another, and the loud noises originated from both the bustling crowds and their mode of transport of their own choosing.

On this one specific night where her family decided to go to Tokyo, it was raining. The number of people walking the streets certainly decreased due to it, but in no way did it kill the bustling traffic.

But she had seen and re-lived this moment, this nightmare of hers, enough times for her to be desensitized with the loud bustling noises of the city. But even if she wasn't desensitized to the loud noise, her attention would still remain glued to her younger form that was dragging a bloodied body in that dark alleyway and nothing else.

No, it's more like she couldn't look anywhere else, as her own sick mind wouldn't let her move her head to look away, to not move from her position as that of a spectator. She doesn't even think she could interact with this dream world of hers, it was as if she was looking at a movie that was too realistic to the point that the boundary between fantasy and reality had disappeared.

But then again, when the supernatural side of the world is involved, fantasy and reality really aren't that different.

And so she just stood there on the sidelines as always, watching the five year old struggle trying to carry the heavily injured body of her Onii-chan to get as far away as possible from the source of her misery.

She really should have known better, should have known that the supernatural and the monsters of the night existed, the signs were always there after all, that strange multimillion-dollar international company that handles too much things at once, the fact that said company has been in this earth for several generations, and she certainly should have seen through the fact that there were several of these companies all over the world.

All of which, were named aptly after the four damned SATANs of the Underworld. It was a big red flag when you think about it, the younger her really was too preoccupied with suddenly living in not the hell hole that was 2020.

She really should have done research on those things, as a reincarnated person she really should have seen it coming that she would have been reincarnated unto the messed up world where the damned supernatural existed.

She was sure that this wasn't her old world, the closest possibility would be an alternate timeline where she had been turned into a baby girl and thrown back into the past by some weird deity.

Her pondering was cut short as she heard a different, louder noise that differentiated itself from the heavy rain, buzzing traffic, and huffing of a five year old child trying to heft her older brother with all her power.

It was the sloppy sound of flesh hitting concrete, of foot meeting road, but as she knew what the originator of the sound was, she felt a tinge of dread build inside of her. Even after all these years of reliving this same memory, this same sequence of events, she couldn't stop the feeling of fear from manifesting in her mind.

She saw it, the god forsaken creature that made her start her journey. The first living, breathing life form that she had killed. It was none other that a nameless stray devil, a creature of the night that had disobeyed their master and turned into an unholy monster of violence and murder.

At first glance it's silhouette was that of a human, but when put into account that it's face held no… well, face, it certainly cemented the fact that the thing chasing her five year old self was not human in the slightest. It's arms were disproportionate, with the right arm strangely larger and bulkier than the childlike left arm that had long claws jutting out. It's chest was bare, revealing rows of teeth where his heart should have been with a single eyeball in said mouth.

The creature truly was nightmare fuel, no doubt that even the current her would have nightmares if she were to see this eldritch-like creature rushing after her in the dead of the night. And since she's still having nightmares about it, that statement holds true.

She saw the monster come closer and closer to her younger self, she saw it opening it's maw and how saliva drooled down onto the concrete under them, acidic saliva actually as shown by how it melts the concrete road below.

Her younger self was panting heavily, fear evident in her eyes as she had flopped down and started trembling, legs no longer able to move due to fear. She hugged the bloodied body that she had been carrying the whole time, her Onii-chan, all beaten and bloodied, no doubt he would have passed away if he had not received immediate medical attention.

She saw her sobbing, crying, screaming for something, someone, to save her and her brother. But as the human turned stray devil drew closer and closer, as it's acidic saliva drooled under it and mixed with the pool of blood that had formed as she simply sat there unable to move, hope became a foreign concept to her at that very moment.

As there was only the monster and it's prey. The hunter and the hunted. The weak and the strong.

She saw, helplessly, unable to move even an inch closer, unable to even blink or to look away, the creature raise it's claw high towards the heavens, and then-

-

She opened her eyes to see a familiar wooden ceiling.

Of course, as it was a dream, a figment of her imagination during her sleep, she would also be awoken from them after a certain amount of time.

She looked around, finding the red alarm clock next to her bed and saw that it was still a few hours before she would head to school. It felt surreal, to actually have to once more attend school considering her mental age, but she also knew that this was what her Onii-chan wanted for her, and she doesn't want to keep being pestered to go by her neighbor and his childhood friend.

She would have been fine with homeschooling, in fact, there wasn't a need to re-educate her in most of the subjects that they would teach. She was a reincarnator after all, she already knows the ins and outs of modern society and even if this was an alternate reality where supernatural forces exist and there were some minor changes in history, it wouldn't really affect the experiences that she had already had.

Her problem would simply be blending in, because while she liked children in general, they were sweet angels after all, obnoxious brats were a whole different story. Well, if there were any problem children in her grade school that she's transferring into, she'll either beat them into submission or use logic and rat them out to the teachers.

Or maybe she'll pull the uno reverse card, and she'll cry like a baby.

Certainly that plan would not backfire on her.

But back onto reality and away from the confines of her mind, since she's wide awake and has absolutely nothing to do, she might as well put some work in.

She got out of bed and walked towards her computer, expertly passing through the piles of organized trash around her and booted the machine. She unplugged her phone from its charging station, to see what kind of mess the human social media pulled out of it's ass this time to waste time waiting for her computer to start.

From the corner of her eyes, she saw a black mass forming from her shadow, she saw countless red eyes staring at her questioningly. If she were a lesser human, or at the very least not aquintinced with the swirling mass of data, she would have screamed bloody hell at it.

But as she personally knew of it, she instead extended her hand towards it and it extended a part of it's swirling black mass towards her from the shadows, allowing her to pet it's head.

She could feel the feeling of satisfaction that it radiated, really, for a swirling mass of darkness it certainly feels like a pet snake more than anything. A snake that has hundreds upon hundreds of eyes and is also scattered all across the city for surveillance that can do a lot of damage to the city if she were to let it loose. She gave another pat to Eyesmon before she focused back on the computer in front of her and started her work.

She still has a few hours until she needs to prepare to go to school, it wouldn't hurt to add more progress on her newest project.

-

She halted her progress when a plate of toast made its way onto her lap.

She had to blink her obsidian orbs twice to notice the taller figure garbed in your average school uniform consisting of a light brown blazer over a white buttoned shirt decorated with a black tie and brown pants. She saw her brother's own pair of obsidian eyes eyeing her, a small smile forming on his lips as he ruffled her brown hair making it more messy than it already was.

She never bothered cutting her messy, as long as it doesn't get in the way it doesn't bother her that much. Her purple hair clips made sure that her bangs won't impair her vision, nor would not get in the way of her glasses, and she liked them because they were a gift from Onii-chan.

She looked away from her Onii-chan to look at her clock, to her surprise she saw that a few hours had passed in what for her was a blink of an eye.

Time works in mysterious and annoying ways. When you pay attention to it, it becomes slower as the seconds ticks away, but when you actually focus on something like what she had been doing, it would fly as fast as a baby who was high on sugar and just saw his favourite toy on the porch.

And because of that she's going to be late. On her first day no less. She scrambled to put on her uniform, she didn't bother putting on her blazer, simply haphazardly throwing it in her bag after buttoning her shirt and strapping her skirt on.

"Why didn't you tell me that it was almost time for Onii-chan! Didn't I already tell you that I have to go meet the stinking teachers first yesterday!" She screeched as she grabbed the piece of toast as violently burst through the door of her room and into the living room with a piece of toast on one hand and an opened bag with notes on the other.

"And none of you informed me that it was almost time to! Why have you betrayed me so!" She screamed to the bunches of electronics in her room and received no response.

"I did call you though, they did too. Multiple times. You really need to be aware of your surroundings, especially if you're going to go to school now. What if some bully tries to get the jump on you and you're too focused on your phone?" Onii-chan asked as he slowly bristled out of the messy room to see her scrambling to put her shoes on in front of the apartment door while still munching on her toast.

She felt something press onto her head, and saw that it was a bento that Onii-chan had packed for her. "Don't forget about this. Don't waste your whole break working and not eat okay?"

"Mph! Mmph mh mphu!" She said while still munching on her bread.

"Don't talk while you're eating, you'll leave crumbs all over the floor and I can't understand you at all." Onii-chan shook his head out of amusement and as she finished tying her shoes, she dashed out of their apartment.

"Mmmphmmph!" She said her goodbye as she dashed towards her school with the toast at her mouth and bento in hand.

"Be careful on your way to school!" Onii-chan shouted from the door. As soon as she was out of sight he shook his head at her antics.

"So much for a child genius." He sighed as he went and prepared to go to his own highschool. He heard the sound of a door opening and saw that his neighbor had prepared to go as well.

"Ah, you aren't ready to go to school Taru?" Asked one Tobio Ikuse as he walked closer to his friend. In response to his question Taru let out a sigh and started to regale the tale of how his sister is probably going to be late on her first day of school.

"Risu got too absorbed in work again, that girl really can't manage her time well." He massaged his forehead as he thought back on the many times she failed to correctly perceive the concept of time.

"I just hope she doesn't get lost on her way to school." Tobio said with a grin that made Taru groan just thinking about it.

"Gods I hope not. Anyway, I'm going to get my bag so do you mind waiting for me?" He asked and Tobio nodded. "I'll wait downstairs, Sae's probably waiting so get going." Taru's response was to simply wave at him without looking back as his friend headed downstairs to his childhood friend who was indeed waiting for him.

All the while a pair of red eyes watched from the darkness, informing it's master of the two's condition.

-

You know the saying 'a lady is never late, nor is she early, she arrives precisely when she means to'?

That saying doesn't really work in today's society. Because when you're late, you're late, if you're early, then you're early.

She thanked the gods that she didn't arrive late, though her state of ruffled clothing and sweat certainly indicated that she had been rushing to arrive as quickly as she could.

If the supernatural wasn't such a guarded secret, she would have hitched a ride on Eyesmon to school or opened a digital gate to get here, but she can't really do so in broad daylight nor can she do it in the open.

Even if she did do it and transport herself to some secluded place near the school, it can still cause questions to pop up, and she doesn't really have a long lasting solution to them.

Wiping memories can only last so long before questions will pop up again, and doing it over and over again is just inefficient or so she thinks.

But she made it to the school, briefly talked to the teacher about the arrangement of the class that she would transfer to and was led towards said classroom. The school. Was an average one to be fair, quite large for a school that isn't as prominent as it was but the atmosphere was nice and the teacher seemed responsible enough.

She hopes that she doesn't get transferred to that one class with all the problem children, or to get transferred into that one specific anime protagonist seat near the window, just being a transfer student whose background was being homeschooled after her parents had passed away in an accident raises enough flags already.

She fiddled with her shoulder length messy brown locks that she calls hair to keep herself from fiddling with her phone, she had enough self control to know that if she puts even a finger on her phone she'll lose sense of the things surrounding her just like earlier in the morning.

The problem of having a goal in sight is that sometimes you lose sight of things other than the goal, is what she thinks the moral of this morning's mishap was.

She was fidgeting, the amount of human interaction that she has had for the last few months only limited to a select few, being her Onii-chan, Tobio-nii, Sae-nee, and the landaly. The last was mostly her hiding behind her Onii-chan while he talked to her about rent, but she was there! It counts!

She was nervous, she can create satan level class digital creatures capable of mass destruction in span of a month or two and yet she was nervous to meet a bunch of pubescent teenagers, most of which doesn't have an inkling on the fact that the supernatural and all its glory and gore existed right next door.

She really doesn't think that she can truly connect and make friends like her Onii-chan, they would simply be classmates and acquaintances at best. So preoccupied with her own thoughts and the sudden call of her teacher, she never noticed that the phone that she had placed on her backpack was vibrating.

-

Just as she remembered it, school was mentally draining.

And curse her luck while she's at it, she's in one of those high end classes with the 'smart' and 'talented' students of the school. Easy to say they were all disillusioned brats and students who had made cliques and had parents that had connections, with only a few of them actually being hardworking students, those of which the student body deemed as 'nerds'.

Now she remembered why she hated school.

And she was even given the anime protagonist seat! If that wasn't a huge flag, she doesn't know what is.

She really should've expected that transferring here, she would trigger the 'getting swarmed by her classmates to ask questions' event, though thankfully as she didn't fit the 'overseas transfer student' category, not everyone swarmed at her during break, allowing her to actually have a bite at the bento that her Onii-chan had made for her

Their questions ranged from 'Where are you from?' to 'What color do you like?' and some even went straight to 'Do you have anyone you like?'

She remembered children having more tact last time she checked. But then again, they were children. Brats, no less. No wonder they were so uncouth.

But to be fair, those who didn't attempt to swarm her with questions were already spreading gossip and rumours about her, some of which weren't positive mind you. And they were doing so while she was still within earshot! How incredibly rude and uncouth!

If she were in their place, she would at least attempt to fake courtesy and not spread rumors of how she was a 'dweeb' and a 'nerd' while she was within earshot! Even bullying has rules and procedures that one needed to follow and secrecy was certainly one of them!

But back to her bento, it was delicious, as expected of her Onii-chan's cooking. Even with such low grade ingredients he could cook up something incredibly delicious like this, her Onii-chan truly is skilled in the culinary arts.

Now if only he would let her buy that premium wagyu beef that was on sale… she'll probably sneak it into the fridge later when she's on her way home from school.

After all, talking to a store clerk is also a part of the things that she could actually do! She's not so antisocial that she can't talk to a person that's basically an npc that sells you items.

She pulled out her phone, expecting to find texts from her brother worrying over her wellbeing and inability to socialize thanks to becoming a certified neet for the last three years of her life while she was being 'homeschooled'.

Hey, as long as she makes the minimum attendance needed and actually gets good grades and finishes the tasks and assignments that she really has to, it's all good in her book.

So it was kind of surprising when she opened her phone to see a wall of text from a certain app of her own creation. She sent Herissmon an apology and As soon as she hurriedly read the texts that she had received, her eyes instantly gravitated towards several students in her class.

A blonde and tanned girl that was wearing a loose definition of a 'uniform' that embodied the notion of 'gyaru' to a tee and was animatedly talking with her own clique of fellow gyarus.

A glasses wearing boy with black hair that was properly wearing a gakuran and was reading a book by his lonesome in one corner of the class.

The long, black haired class beauty was no doubt a yamato nadeshiko, the classic Japanese style perfect girl, that kept glancing at the glasses wearing boy.

An orange haired pretty boy who was being surrounded by fan girls and was certainly the embodiment of the 'ikemen' troupe.

And the pink haired twin tailed class representative who was telling the group of gyarus to actually follow the rules of the school and was properly being ignored by them.

Oh gods did she not only get thrown back in time into an alternate universe where Dragon Ball was Dragso Ball but the class that she got transferred to was one filled with anime tropes!? And worse of all, all of them have dormant sacred gears!?

Herissmon has got to be joking here, there is no way in HELL that all of the bratty children that embodied tropes were wielders of sacred gears, maybe a relative of theirs had one? Or maybe a family member of theirs was actually part of the supernatural? She was glad that she could have Eyesmon shroud her own presence by constantly eating away at her aura and spreading it to make it seem like she was an ordinary person.

In any case she needed to keep an eye on them, Ryoukuu was a neutral area and not many supernatural forces decided to make this place their homebase seeing that it was basically a backwater town with no prominent leylines to speak of. The one and only active ley line was already used by yours truly, and said leyline was weak in comparison to the ones in the other regions near here.

Speaking of which, she'll also have to make a visit there soon, no doubt Sakuyamon is in need of supplies after so long.

But the question is, how does she keep an eye on them?

Eyesmon can certainly keep an eye on them, and if she only used a small part of it's scatter mode then it hopefully won't be noticed, but if any of them were to suddenly be attacked by one of the supernatural forces and unable to fight back, then she'll feel guilty about it. Needless to say in an all out battle, Eyemon's scatter mode isn't all that strong, so it wouldn't really factor that much in a straight fight.

She eyed her classmates once more, thinking all of the possibilities that were possible until the bell signaling the end of break rang.

Needless to say she was restless for the rest of the day.

-

As she had planned, she went ahead and bought supplies to give to Sakuyamon and headed back to their apartment.

Nothing notable happened that night, other than her crunching her brain on trying to figure out an actual way to either hide the supernatural from her classmates, or hide her classmates from the supernatural.

Now, it's not like she has attachment to those classmates of hers. In fact, she could care less about them or their safety.

But if anything happens to them, then her Onii-chan will get worried that the same thing will happen to her, and then he'll rush head first into danger disregarding his own safety. Even though it's more than obvious that she's the stronger of the two of them, her Onii-chan would still worry about her safety like that.

And that was something that she really, REALLY, didn't want to happen. In fact, it's the exact opposite of what she wants.

She wants her Onii-chan to have a nice, relaxing highschool experience, and he won't have that if she or her classmates get into trouble. If it's supernatural trouble, then that'll make him worry even more.

So whether she likes it or not, whether it's a big problem that'll pull most of her plans off track and derail some of her already existing projects.

She'll have to take care of her classmates, and make sure that they are going to be fine and dandy.

Now if only her classmates can stop raising flags…

-

Now, there's a problem with transferring in the middle of a school year.

First off, the curriculum, while mostly the same for almost every other school out there, sometimes has different interpretations because of the specific teachers. But that was fine for her, homeschooling or rather googling answers or materials and late night multitasking allowed her to catch up on most of the materials that she had already studied a lifetime ago.

But there are several teachers who are annoying her, and are really grating her nerves. Like that one teacher who likes to put down students that shows that he was actually wrong or how his manners are to be frank, 'un-teacher like'.

There's also that one teacher that always makes her answer the questions on the blackboard, gosh that person's annoying in her own way, and she was supposed to be her homeroom teacher!? If she was trying to make her feel acclimated to the class, then she's doing an absolute botch of a job.

Thankfully time can go by pretty fast, especially if you have a one track mind like her. She got used to being in the vicinity of pubescent teenagers quickly, although the crappy orange haired ikemen kept making advances on her.

She doesn't really care for him, nor does she have one of those 'pretty girl' looks, so she doesn't really know why he wants her in his harem, he already has a gaggle of fangirls so why does he want her in it?

On other news, her relationship with said gaggle of fangirls was not exactly the best. And that was putting it mildly.

They weren't outright bullying her per say, but the scowls and glares whenever the ikemen approached her clearly made quite the atmosphere for the whole class. Then again, almost all the females of the class worship the very ground that the boy walks from. Apparently he's the school soccer superstar, and also a rich boy, not that she cares much about sports though, she hates the very thought of exercising.

As if some gods were pulling her hair, the yamato nadeshiko-like girl was actually the childhood friend and neighbor of the black haired glasses boy who likes to read books alone. But from the looks of it, he was someone who others belittle even though he was quite smart due to his looks and the gloomy aura around him.

The Yamato nadeshiko girl would always send worried glances to him every time someone bothers him, but in the end it only made them add more effort to their bullying because, and she quotes, 'he keeps stealing her attention'.

Brats, a lot of them. It's why she would keep a distance when she interacts with them, and she rarely does so anyway. She wanted to have an image of a normal schoolgirl interacting with others, if anything to keep her Onii-chan from fussing over her, but the damn kids kept making themselves more unlikable every time she looked at them more closely.

The class rep was someone who was soo incredibly strict, that there wasn't a day where she wasn't reprimanding the gang of gals who are clearly violating the school rules. It's basically a daily routine, for her to arrive at school to see the class rep already there waiting and the moment she sees anyone of the gyarus, especially the blonde, she'll start running her mouth about the school's rules and image that the students have to keep.

The gyaru, would of course, ignore each and every word and syllables that comes out of her mouth.

It's funny when you find out that they were childhood friends that used to be glued to the hip together, hormones do change someone like that.

Man, the things you find out by digging through school records. She was really glad that she had a team of virus and data type digimon that are capable of doing things like that easily in the blink of an eye.

But still, as she kept fiddling with her phone as usual minding her own business, she heard the voice of that ikemen causing her to glance at him through her glasses.

"Excuse me?" she asked as she wasn't really paying attention to him, not that she ever does actually pay attention to whatever goes out of that mouth of his. It was always either self praises that his fangirls and lackies adore or putting poor glasses-kun down, much to the yamato nadeshiko's ire.

He didn't seem miffed by her apparent disregard of his words as he simply kept that 'charming' smile of his plastered on his face and retold her of what he had said before. "Why, I was merely curious as to what you were always doing with that phone of yours Risu-chan. You do seem to always be looking at it during break and after school."

She heard some of the girls around him saying that she was simply a nerd, and that Hiiro, oh right that was his name, should just avoid her or he'll get 'nerd germs' that she and the glasses wearing boy emitted, whatever that was. Can't wait for all of them to be old enough to have to wear glasses, then she'll show them who's the nerd!

It'll still be her, she's the one who keeps playing with her computers and all.

She fixed her glasses and returned her attention to the code in her phone, her current project to keep these bunches of anime tropes alive till at least graduation, "Don't others also play with their phones during breaks and after school? It's not that I'm any different." she answers in a low voice, but just loud enough for the others to hear her.

She could hear some of the other brats fuming at her dismissal of their 'prince's' question, the glares that she received intensified but she paid them no heed and focused on her work as usual. Don't they know that their survival rides on her shoulders? Of course they don't, it's not like she'll outright tell them about the supernatural and all that it entails, that's just blatantly stupid.

She needs to at least finish her program first, then she can fuss on how to actually approach the subject. Besides, that's a problem for future her to solve, the her of right now only needs to focus on the program.

"Why I am simply curious, even an average student wouldn't be so focused on their phones like you do. Is it perhaps a game that you are into?" he said, voice full of confidence as always.

A game? Does he really think that SHE of all people would be interested in games of all things!? She, a person who is involved in the supernatural side of the world where death and destruction can come in all shapes and sizes, and where danger lurks in every corner where trust is as fickle as a turd on the wind?

She is, while making programs and coding was something that she loved, she did sometimes pass the time by playing the console that they have at home with her Onii-chan.

It was at that moment that a bright idea flashed in her mind. A plan that can kill two, no- three of her problems and maybe even more in a single strike. She'll have to change a bit of her programs, but if this works the pay off can be quite high.

She tried her hardest to not show the grin that was twitching to form and kept her passive mask as she answered the ikemen that kept pestering her for some random reason. "Yes, it's a game." She kept her answers short and simple, hopeful that such an answer will draw the attention of the source of her problems.

She continues to ignore him, actually pretending and not consciously ignoring him like she is used to by now, and focuses back on the digits of ones and zeroes on her phone as if she's actually playing a 'game'. Before he could peek over and actually see what she was doing, she pulled the phone closer to her nonexistent chest and continued.

"It's still in early development. And I doubt that someone of your standing would be interested in a simple game that a fellow student is developing." And just as she wanted, he fell for the bait, as shown by a glint in his eyes. She had seen that the boy liked to play games, as shown by how he kept trying to one up others that do anything in the class.

Sports? He's the superstar of the school's soccer team, what do you expect? Looks? He has a gaggle of fangirls and lackeys doing his bidding and those who oppose him are easily squashed by their bullying.

He would try to one up anyone to keep up his 'perfect student' or 'perfect ikemen' facade. If someone brings a game or anything in general to school, you can be sure that the next day he'll bring something more expensive and extravagant to just flex on them. You can be sure that whenever someone does something, he'll show up doing it ten times better and ten times more flamboyant.

If anything, the only thing that he isn't the number one in this school is his grades, he was always second to the resident yamato nadeshiko, and sometimes the class rep surpasses him from time to time.

Well, I guess she was number one in grades now though. They had midterms just a few weeks after she had transferred, which reminds her of how bad her timing was at transferring schools, and it was left unsaid that she had aced every single subject.

Well, every subject except sports, sports can go fuck itself.

Wait, was that why he kept pestering her? Because she got the number one position in the school records? Now that she thinks about it, he did harass the yamato nadeshiko before midterms about their grades or something.

Well she doesn't really care, as long as this plan of her's succeeded, she wouldn't need to pay much attention to these crappy brats.

She can then live the school life that she had imagined, one filled with peace and quiet with a relaxing atmosphere. Just her, her phone and its inhabitants, and the bento that her Onii-chan would make every morning to fill the peaceful days of school.

As soon as she saw the glint of interest in his eyes, she began explaining the 'game' that she was 'playing'. And sure enough, her plan to attract the attention of the ikemen and the other students were successful.

And who knows, if the program works well enough she might give it to her cousin too.

And so, at the end of the day, the program that she made was drastically changed.

It was a bit annoying, trying to turn a program that was supposed to absorb an energy just like what Eyesmon is doing with her own body, but more discreet and through an app of all things, into the same thing but also a playable multiplayer online game.

She had to waste a lot, and by that she meant A LOT of her own pocket money to set up a dedicated server and all that the online services entailed.

Well, illegal money straight from the pocket of criminals all over the underworld. She had to thank Hackmon and his crusade against anything unjust for that, and also to thank the Hagurumons and others for laundering the money and setting up an account in her steed.

Good thing that she doesn't need to hire workers though, Datamon and others are already proving themselves as a great addition to her growing digital village, and not to mention the Guardromons acting as a living sentient firewall.

Gut if there's anyone she's overworking, it's got to be poor Herissmon. That child was one of a kind so it is virtually impossible to make a perfect copy of him. She'll get to it though, the job that she's putting him through is already taking enough for a single digimon, and that's not even mentioning the tasks that are to come when she actually uploads the game on the net and shares it with her classmates.

But still, the idea itself of creating a full online program accessible by everyone that possesses magic sounded interesting, it sounded fun. She wouldn't be the first one doing something like that, she had caught a glimpse of the security system of the Underworld and also a flash of that of the Grigori, and they were quite strong.

Not strong enough to keep away from them of course, she had a literal army of digital creatures after all, no matter how strong the firewall and digital security is, she can break through it.

It sounded like a challenge for her, a person that was able to mix both magic and science together, literally.

She really should be glad that Hackmon managed to claim a few grimoires, actual magical grimoires, out of a black market deal while he was off terrorizing criminals through the network. They were useful, I mean holy shit, actual magical grimoires of power and freaking magic, how could someone not get excited by that?

None of it were things that she actually needed mind you, there was no need for her to learn the generic elemental magic, nor does she have the talent nor mana to actually pull off some of the techniques listed in them.

But it was a proof of concept, of her being able to integrate said magic formulas and magic circles to a digital landscape and also lessen the cost of programming a creature on how to breathe fire. They were convenient, especially the memory altering spell, that one is a must have in this strange life of hers.

And it took a full sleepless week, one filled with tea, because fuck coffee, and the constant cheers and encouragement from the creations, and she had eventually had completed it.

In the span of a week, she had made a game. An online, multiplayer game that has actual freaking, honest to god magic formulas intertwined in the codes and acts as a sacred gear suppressor for several people of her choosing.

The bad news, she got scolded harshly by her Onii-chan!

She knows that it was a sign of his affection, but it still stings! Those brats should be grateful that she painstakingly went through all this just for their sake! She got scolded by her Onii-chan! The thought of making her dear older brother mad and worried was something that she didn't want to do, and yet because of them she had to do it.

Ah well, she's not doing this to get comrades or friends, nor is she doing this to get people to be indebted to her.

She's only doing this for her Onii-chan, her one and only Onii-chan.

That's all there is to it.

"Hey, did you hear? Apparently a kid from 2-C made a game."

"What, like, seriously? Is it some lousy 2-bit trash that you make halfheartedly?"

"No dude! It's like an actual real game! And it's multiplayer too, I hear that it's actually pretty good too."

"Huh, what's the game then?"

"I hear that she named it 'Cyber Sleuth', she even got a company and everything producing it! It's about-'"
